Ok. Just buy this. And buy the Dermelect Ridge Filler which is a nice translucent pink. I have researched and have tried this brand along with many others like OPI, etc. I believe that this brand is by far the most effective with daily use. I called Dermelect customer service and they were great! They recommended Launchpad as the best restorative base coat for damaged nails. It really works! The best I have found. I use it with the pale pink ridge filler by Dermelect because it casts a lovely pale translucent pink which gives your nails a polished, professional and up to date nail salon look while hiding ridges, yellowing and dingy nails, etc. I had terribly damaged nails from years of acrylic and gel nails. My nails would peel below the quick and I had to wear bandaids! I felt like a slave to the nail salons, too. Over $100 a month! Crazy! After just a month of Dermelect, I saw great improvement. Now, at three months, I have healthy nails. It’s a daily routine for me to keep my nails strong and healthy, but I believe that, of all the products that I have tried, Dermelect is by far the best. Their products really work- they stay on a long time and are easy to apply with great results. I believe that if you have weak and brittle nails, this brand is the best. Please read the directions and call Dermelect customer service if you have questions. Be consistent. This is a great product line. It is so worth it to have healthy, natural nails which are so pretty!

Not really sure it's done much to strengthen my old, weak nails, but I still like it as a base coat. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. it works great

The photos are a few days after applying my formulas. I paint my nails weekly. I have always had healthy nails until I was convinced to add gel powder and that one instance led to a painful and embarrassing destruction of my nails. Once the gel polish was removed, my nails became soft and split right down to skin. I tried every remedy going back to silk wraps and nothing worked; tried vitamins as well. I my quest for yet another solution, I found Dermaselect nail product in July. It took about a month to see improvements At first, I used launchpad and the high maintenance together. I refreshed every week for a month. My nails slowly grew out and hardened; the splitting stop and the nail beds glowed pink. I then moved onto their other hardeners which added slight colour for another month. I also figured out to how to do my own manicure, purchased my own tools and this I feel has been tremendously helpful in healthy skin regrowth as I am in control of the products that works for my nails, cuticles and hands. 4 months later, I am now using their peptide infused strengthens in several pretty shades. I still apply launchpad as my base and high maintenance as top coat. My nails grows fast, but I cut down to active length. I sometimes show off their pink, healthy state with just the high maintenance. I realised that it has been a costly journey, but for me, it was well worth it!

This product did not make my nails any stronger than regular nail polish.

My nails are thin, peel , split and break easily. I was going away and then on to a reunion and wanted to have decent presentable nails. After several weeks of use, even my husband was shocked at my nails! I even had to cut down several nails. My right hand (am right handed) did not do as well as my left, but was still presentable. There are times when I need to file chipped edges. Overall, you need to be consistent with its use. I first put on two coats. Then 1 coat a day for a week before removing the polish and starting over. Make sure you have a remover that is strong enough to remove all the polish or the new layers won’t stick. The only negative that I have is that the polish tends to have a slight blue tint after several applications. I have not applied colored polish on top of Launchpad, so I cannot offer an opinion on that.

Lately my index and middle finger lose the nail polish the next day as the nails are peeling I used this treatment didn't think I would like it because 10 minutes into it it felt very gritty on my nails I was not pleased an hour later it felt smooth I did a second coat and then I put nail polish on and it's been 3 days I'm impressed so far the nail polish has not chipped

I bought this product hoping it would strengthen my peeling finger nails. After 4 application It would appear that the nail is separating from the nail bed (onycholysis) on 5 of my fingers.
