Works great!
Gets the job done! Definitely helps get the rust out. Fairly hard water where I live and rust staining was showing up. Followed the easy instructions, and the amount of rust that came out after treatment was amazing! Had to run the water for quite some time to get back to clear, but since then no noticable rust stains from the water! Good value, sure beats trying to scrub all the rust away weekly!

If you have dissolved iron in your water, this stuff works.
Having 7ppm of iron in my water, after about 2 months without treatment, the wife says the water is "slimy" so I add a half-cup to the brine tank every other 50# of salt. It makes a difference.

Save your softener
Without this my water softener clogged after 4 years. The iron damaged the media and it needed to be replaced. This prevents iron from damaging the media. I found I can buy salt with this built in and that’s what I do now.
