Absolutely beautiful!
Bought these through Amazon last year. They arrived in perfect condition and were packed extremely well...actually better than the way Burpee packs live plants. They produced tons of eggplants from early summer right through the fall...so much I was giving them away. They were so terrific that I ordered four more plants this year as soon as they became available for order. I grow them in containers. They get over four feet tall and are so loaded with eggplants that they need good trellising and tying to keep them safe. You won't be disappointed. Water well, give them food, and you'll be getting armloads! Delicious too!

Good plants, arrived in great shape!
Tracking the package after I ordered these plants, I was concerned that they shipped on Sunday but the delivery date was Thursday. 5 days in transit in this hot weather ...I really wasn't expecting them to survive. . Much to my surprise - they arrived in great shape! The heavy cardboard box and little plastic sleeves protected them beautifully. They are well developed, about 8 inches tall, big leaves, good roots. I gave them a good soaking ,kept them in partial shade for the next day, and planted them that evening. They look great! Planted ichiban eggplants last summer and love them but couldn't find any locally this year. I won't hesitate to order from Bonnie via Amazon.UPDATE: planted these May 11, harvested the first ones, 6 to 8 inches long, today June 16. Many flowers & smaller 'eggs', plants are huge .Will definitely order next year.

Plants came in dead
The plants were packaged well so I had my hopes very high. However, upon opening it, I saw that the plants were dying and had insects on them. Would not recommend.

Was worried but looking good
I've read the instructions, and they stated that it needs full sun, so I've been giving it water and full sun regularly and removing the yellow leaves. For the first few weeks, you need to pay close attention to them. Once you pot them in good soil, they should be fine. I'm happy to say I've got two flowers so far.

Only one grew
Usually don't have a problem with this brand. Don't know if it set in the hot truck too long or what but once I finished following the directions and put them into my established garden one died immediately, two died in the next week and one is growing fabulously. So I paid all that money for one plant. So just beware and if they start dying ask for a refund or replacement immediately. I will not make that mistake again.

Japanese eggplants from Bonnie’s
I loved the containers that they used to ship these plants. They were molded plastic that could not crush. Also, the potting material was rich and stayed in place. I had ordered other plants from a reputable nursery which came in horrible condition. My next order will be from Bonnie’s. I was more than pleased.

arrived with most leaves fallen off
I was not notified ahead of time that a signature would be required for delivery. When I wasn't there on a Friday, the plants weren't redelivered until Monday evening- almost dead from lack of water with most of their leaves having fallen off. Plants were large.
