ChargerCity Simple Lock Car Vehicle Air Vent Mount w/Mega Smartphone Holder for Smartphones

I purchased this dock because I had something similar in my previous car, but when I bought a new car that has vertical vents it wouldn't attach properly. I thought that this product would work where the other failed based on the pictures that showed two adjustments...The first is that the "clip" portion can rotate to vertical or horizontal so that in the vertical position it will clip to the vertical vent. This works fine.Unfortunately the second feature shown in the pictures was not included on the product I received. The second feature was that the stabilizer "feet" could adjust inward. See, on a horizontal vent the clip can adjust up and down so that the feet can rest on something sturdy because the vent itself will allow for the up/down adjustment. On most vertical vents, the vents slats only move left and right. Therefore the lower feet need to be able to adjust inward; otherwise, they are just left hanging out in the air with nothing to rest on. The picture showed that this product had that adjustment, but the product I received just had the static, non-adjustable feet like my old mount.If the product I received had been as pictured, it probably would have got 4 or 5 starts, but since it didn't have the ability to work on my vertical vents I had to send it back.

It does a decent job, but the "stabilization" bar on the bottom doesn't lock in place so every time you turn the phone rotates and slams against the side of the vent it's clipped to and you have to readjust it so you can see it again. I have learned to reach over and hold it every time I turn so this doesn't happen. Other than that I have no complaint about this product. It holds various sizes of phones, and seems to be made of decent materials.

It works well, very adaptable for all types of phones and mp3 players. Even fits my gigantic LG G2.The little mechanism in back that you tighten to keep it steady requires a turn nearly every time I get in my car.Also, the cradle came in the shipping the first time, but not the AC vent mechanism. Had to call Amazon. They sent it out straight away, a whole new unit, very easy, but it was an inconvenience. Not a hit on the product, but part of the experience.

The only thing need to be pay attention is the vent hanger may damage the vent after long-time use.But other than that the product is pretty good.

First, it was difficult to install since the manual that come with it did not fully explain how to mount this device i accidentally was able to do it and it worked only issue i have with this device is that when u hung your phone it doesn't hold tightly on the place that rotates other thsn that i recommend this device to any one I'm glad i got it.

Device came in a clear bag as several plastic and rubber parts with no instructions for assembly, mounting or use. Since I worked as a senior project engineer, I put it together as best I could with one part left over since I could not figure out where it goes. I mounted the device but it is unstable and will probably fall off. It is not worth any more of my time even to return it.

Works perfectly with my S4 in my ZL1. I highly recommend. There are several inaccurate reviews that have not made the necessary adjustments to allow for perfect fitment and placement of the phone in the cradle. One feature I absolutely love is the release and the lock. Simply place the phone in the cradle and the button on the back of the cradle contacts the phone and automatically adjusts the locking mechanism to hold the phone. It's awesome!

Attaches firmly to car air vents either vertically or horizontally. Superior to the Verizon product that I had before.

Good quality and simple to set up.

tres bon produit assez bien fini, un peu léger certes mais devrait faire, a voir dans le temps.Par contre gros défaut le crochet n' estpas assez long (par rapport a un autre produit acheté il y a quelque temps)résultat j' ai du démonter le porte crochet et limerde quelques mm les deux parties (facile : plastique) et réusir (avec du mal) a l'insataller sur une grille aération d' une YARIS lll

Article bien pensé, solide (fixation métallique), facile a fixer et à enlever.Le téléphone est bien fixé et ne tombe pas.Pas de regret sur cet achat.

Difficile de le regler sur des grilles d'aeration verticale (IX35, astra...), inclinaison et orientation trop limite. Sur megane c'est bon

Produit intéressant et peu cher. On remarque cependant que le système de d'orientation du support téléphone n'est pas mal avec son système de rotule mais parait plutôt lègé pour durer dans le temps. Il n'est sûrement pas prévu de changer régulièrement l'orientation du téléphone.Bon produit !
