Q: Hi, how good is this for teenage boys to build strength in my hands and wrists because I get tired before finishing what I’m doing?

Sorry I don't know have not been allowed to use by the hand therapist yet after my ulnar shortening operation. I have children's hands even though I am an adult so if he has bigger than children's hands maybe go for something bigger and stronger. I would have easily squashed this in October 2018 when I could lift 20-25kg and play tennis. I hope it helps.

Q: How noisy are the springs on the main grip strengthener when you squeeze ie can you use it while others watch TV?

Yes, my wife can stand me tapping my fingers on the arm of the soft sofa when she’s watching tv but doesn’t have a problem with the hand grip.

Unless you have a different type, mine has an adjuster on the front to increase poundage.

Yes you can adapt them , I use mine to strengthen my arthritic fingers
