Love this commentary by Tony Evans! He is my favorite pastor i love how he breaks the word of God down so simply! I recommend this book to further your understanding of scripture.

After exploring online sources for commentary. I simply (CANNOT) believe that it took me so long to purchase a hard copy. The many positive reviews i read on Amazon in order to make my selection were not wrong. This is an excellent commentary which includes other helpful info. I didnot want to put it down right after i rec'd bc i truly enjoyed the easy to understand reading. Anyone struggling, (and i confess bc i prefer KJV which leaves me baffled sometime) this is the commentary i would recommend. Im sure there are others just as informative but Tony Evans has always been a good verbal teacher, so i was convinced that his knowledge could go into a hand written source which provide clarity as well and again i was not wrong. So don't wait like i did (going to several online teachings) just invest in Tony Evans Commentary. You will certainly be glad you did Not only will this elevate your bible study, but the anticipation to read & read is ongoing. Thank God for the knowledge of these men & women of God who share their wisdom!!!

He breaks it down into easy to comprehend language. Very good stuff. Also the book has QR codes for intro and study videos for each book of the bible. This accompanies my MacArthur study bible well. Highly recommend

At a first glance I was a bit overwhelmed of how thick it was. Was planning to use in conjunction for my daily bible reading. And true enough, it didn’t disappoint me. Bible reading has even been more enlightening! Definite to recommend!
