Dynasty Canned Sliced Bamboo Shoots, 8 Ounce (Pack of 12)

I’m really impressed with these bamboo shoots! The texture is crisp and tender, not mushy like some brands I’ve tried. The flavor is fresh and clean, perfect for stir-fries, soups, or noodle dishes. Since it’s hard to find good quality bamboo shoots in stores near me, I’m so glad I ordered these. They’re exactly what I was looking for.

These are a great deal and great quality. They were perfect for my Chinese food recipes.

My local grocery store doesn't always have these canned bamboo shoots in stock and I get frequent random wild hares and just have to make a thai curry as soon as possible. So I ordered this case. They're crunchy and delicious, I have yet to come across any shoots that are tough or stringy. When I run out, I'll definitely buy again ☺

I have used Dynasty Canned Bamboo Shoots interchangeably with other brands for years. They are as good as other more-expensive canned brands, whether purchased locally or on Amazon. If you have ever had actual fresh bamboo shoots, you will know that the taste and texture of the canned product is a bit different, but Dynasty's are as good as any canned ones I have used. I usually have a few cans of bamboo shoots in my pantry (They're good for much more than Asian cookery!) and I strongly recommend these.

I like bamboo shoots for Asiam dishes, esp. Thai - there's something about that flavor and also the bite that it has. You can easily find this at the big Asian grocery stores, but I don't have one super close by and didn't want to make an extra trip, so I thought I'd check here - and found this at a fantastic price at less than a dollar per can!! Did I need 12 cans - no, but they will keep and it was such a great deal I couldn't forego it :)

I love bamboo shoots in stir fries. They have a nice texture and subtle unobtrusive flavor and help bulk up a frozen bag of stir fry veggies or fresh. You can definitely tell they come from a can as they have a bit of a metallic taste, but it’s not overwhelming.

And, these are hard to find here in FL, even in Asian stores. These are the same cans that are sold nationally, so check your local pricing to see if this is a good deal for you.

The product is what I expected but 1/2 of the 12 cans are significantly dented, one to the extent the top is popped up. Because I eat these so much, I thought ordering online in bulk would be a good idea, but I will return to purchasing in my local grocery store.
