Viking TacticsSkirmish Belt with Underbelt

Decent "Baby's First Battlebelt"
I used this battle belt on my first deployment. Overall, my chief complaint is that donning/doffing is slow; this thing isn't coming off or on as easily as a battle belt with a cobra buckle. I can't fault the designers too much, it's an inherent part of the design (using velcro for the riggers belt) rather than an oversight. Kyle Lamb's own guidance for the skirmish belt is to buy a size up (which I did); I'm not sure if I advise doing that in real life. The extra real estate was nice, but the underbelt was too large for me, requiring me to peel the actual MOLLE battle belt portion back in order to cinche down the underbelt and attach it to underlying velcro. Again, this slowed down donning on doffing. However, the belt otherwise was good. It was a decent starter belt; it was comfortable and durable. This 4 star rating was earned by the fact that once the belt was on, it did everything I needed it to. I had two tourniquets, an IFAK, a sidearm, a multitool, a dump pouch, two sidearm magazines and one 30-round 5.56 magazine mount on this thing; the skirmish belt was capable of comfortably mounting it all with no problem. What you get with this product is a completely adequate belt that is comfortable. If you believe your end use might involve the need to rapidly don equipment before going into a hairy situation (ie Law Enforcement responding to mass shooter or major situation) this may not be the belt for you. If doffing/donning time isn't a major factor, it's a perfectly good choice.
