We purchased a White Head board and Foot board made from hardwood in Vietnam from an auction. It was incredibly well made but did not have rails. I looked around for matching rails and they wanted $750 for solid wood white rails. The Headboard and footboard had threaded inserts but no bolts. I was able to find the threaded bolts locally, but finding the half moon washers were impossible. I purchased solid pine 2x12's from Lowes and starting at 80 grit down to 320 grit sanded and filled any imperfections. The boards were less than $20 each. Put 4 coats of paint and bought special wood bits to drill on the inside of the boards that allowed me to insert the bolts, use the half moon washers and lock washers. It worked great

Product as expected, which I am VERY please about. Nit one local store carries them. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I ordered two 10pc packs. One has only 9.

The furniture nut is a ribbed design and when tightened, the ribs collaspe. I would expect it tp be solid. material. Top Pic collasped. Bottom picture before collaspe.

These things came in clutch. I lost the originals to my bed. These are as described and durable.
