Blistex 5 Star Lip Protct Size .15z

I used to use pricey brands that did not have SPF because my skin is so sensitive. But, once I found Blistex Five Star, I knew I had a winner. I've been using it for several years, in the desert of Arizona, the dry winter of New Jersey and elsewhere. Never have I had any sensitivity issues, and my lips remain soft and protected from damaging UV rays.

Ive been trying to find the Blistex conditioner in chapstick form - You can get it easily in Australia, but it doesn't seem to be in the US? I thought it might have been branded under another name and so I tried an assortment of Blistex chapsticks to no avail. This one felt very silicon-y and after 10-15 minutes, I actually felt like my lips were getting drying. The search continues.

After buying this on Amazon I saw it in a drug store for the same price...so no savings. Our biggest issue is the after taste which is terrible (it doesn't directly taste bad when you lick your lips but it seeps into your mouth and flavors everything you eat and drink and leaves a yucky mouth feel and taste). It did keep us from burning our lips in the hot summer sun, but we can't wear it because of the taste We tried both (we bought a two pack) and have thrown them out.

Doesn't work for me, but everyone is different.

The best lip balm I have ever used. I keep it in my purse and at my desk at work as well as at my dressing table at home. Applied before I put on lipstick it makes my lips look smoother and fuller.

Love this lip balm. Basically the best lip balm I've ever used. It smells so good and goes on so smooth. I had super dry lips that nothing would cure, but this did!

Like the product but irritated that the balm always get jammed up in the lid. I keep it in my pocket and the adjuster is so loose that it screws up into the lid. I lose 1/3 of the product because of this. This only started happening the past 3 or 4 sticks. I wonder if they recently changed the applicator.

It tasted kind of like a cheap product.
