Love how this fits! I'm 6'1" and the XL was perfect!

This is the perfect dress for a nursing mamma. We bought this dress for a formal wedding and it was the perfect fit. It's VERY comfortable and I love the simplicity of it. The bust area folds down perfectly to nurse my 5 month old. It is very long! Im 5'6" and was wearing a mid-heel (3-4 inches) and it was still dusting the ground. I wish I would have worn higher heels or had it shortened. Even though it is not "fitted" it is still smooth against your skin so I choose to wear a strapless bra and seamless underwear. If you need the best strapless bra ever to go with it I used the Wacoal womans redcarpet strapless bra. I am happy with my purchase of this dress. I bought the turquoise to match the bride's colors for a wedding and the color is slightly more green than pictured which was a good thing for me. I think the actual color is more subdued than it seems in the picture-- more a dark shade of tiffany blue than turquoise. As for the fit, I ordered a large and it fits well-- only slightly more snug than I anticipated. I am 5'4" and currently 160 lbs and breastfeeding twins, so I am very busty and hippy. This dress is as figure flattering as it gets for me I think ;). I will need to get it hemmed as it is far too long, even with heels. The material is not too heavy, not too light and definitely stretchy. One of the main reasons I bought this dress was so I could breastfeed in it and it will work just fine for that purpose. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I love this dress! Because of the two way stretch of this fabric, it is very comfortable to wear and accommodates a variety of body types. I wanted a dress with sleeves and wasn't too snug or too loose--this dress fits the way I wanted.I ordered an XL, since I'm borderline US size L/XL. I think I could have fit the L, but the sleeves might have been too tight. I'm 5'4" and knee the length would be too long, so I was expecting that and knew I'd need to hem it. I am an experienced seamstress, so I figured I could hem it to my preferred length. When I buy an already made article of clothing, I don't like to have to alter it, but this dress is worth it. I deducted one star because it is not available in a wearable length (unless you are really tall).After trying it on, I had my daughter pin the back of the dress at the heel where I wanted the finished hem to be. Then I added about an inch for the hem allowance. I cut off about 3 3/8" (about 8.5 cm). I haven't had time to buy the right color thread and sew the hem yet, but I have worn it since I cut it, since the fabric doesn't fray. I am planning to contact the seller to see if I can order future dresses from them with a custom length (I love the dress enough to want it in other colors).

Wore this as a MOTB (mother of the bride) dress. It was perfect! I had to shorten it but then, I’m 5’2 and I have to shorten almost everything! I’m 140lbs and fall between L/XL or a solid 12 (US) because I’m busty.. This thing fit like it was made for me. Buy your true size. It will fit fine! It’s otherwise plain so you are free to add gems, pins, jewelry at will. Have fun!!

This is a beautiful well-made dress. The navy blue is true to color and fits like the model and does not show the "cottage cheese" or fat rolls, however I am returning it for a larger size. I am 5'7, 180 pounds carried evenly over my body, I wear a 38D and have a 33 inch waist with an hourglass figure. In a fitted dress I tend to wear a 14/16 and in a loose one a can wear a 12. The large is just slightly to small around the waist. The waist is stretched to its width making it uncomfortable. The bust I could get away with with the right bra but it was to tight for the loose fit you see in the picture. In the sizing chart they state the max range for the waist of a large is 32 inches, based on past purchases I thought a large would fit perfectly. If you are on the high end of the stated measurements or slightly over order the next size. This dress is stunning and I can not wait to get the right size.

Needed a dress for a gala event where attire was "cocktail". I am sort of a hermit so this loomed as an ordeal. Looking up cocktail, I saw short dresses with bling and lowcut necklines, backless, sleeveless, terrifying. Fabric of this dress has a nice medium-weight drape, is of terrific quality, super flattering. The waist is just slightly empire, so any little imperfections ahem are quite well disguised. I bought the navy, which is a deep rich true navy and looked far more expensive than this dress's price. Because this was a last-minute purchase, I wore it with dumpy black work pumps but it would look terrific with metallic sandals. I got more compliments on it than I would ever have imagined.Amazon came through with next day delivery and what I had feared would be a nervous uncomfortable evening turned out to be sublime. Highly recommended. This will be a wardrobe safety device in case I ever get invited to a country club gala again; however it is not so "cocktail" that it couldn't go to other events such as weddings and office holiday parties.

i had high hopes for this dress and i'm sorry to say it, but i was disappointed. i purchased a size small bc i wanted the top part to be fitted due to the style and cut. but the material is very "slippery", so the fabric around the chest bunches up and shows no cleavage what-so-ever. this would be fine for someone who isn't interested in showing any chest - but i'm not one of those people lolthis is a black, floor length, a-line style dress so having some classy cleavage adds some youthful elegance to it in my opinion (i'm 25). i would like it much better if it came in snugger around my waist to emphasize my hourglass shape due to there being no cleavage allowed...but that wasn't the case either - it just grazes my waist with no "compression"although the fabric is slippery, i do like the weight and thickness of it. if i didn't miss the exchange window, i would have exchanged it for an x-smallheight: 5'9weight: 150 Ibsbust: 34Dwaist: 28 inhope this helps xo

The dress is stunning! The fabric is rich. I bought it for my sons wedding and it looks like I paid WAY more then I did. It’s absolutely perfect for what I need it for.
