It's good. Easy to push in if you lift the tray slightly.
The installation was a bit faster than I expected. Comes with a nice little template to help mark where you will eventually need to drill the pilot holes. As other reviews have stated, it's not super easy to push back in normally, but that's not necessarily a bad thing in my opinion. I wouldn't want it so easy that it would slide in and out while I'm using my keyboard and mouse. If you want it to push in easy, you can just lift the two front corners of the tray while you're pushing it back in. Would definitely buy it again. I'd recommend this for anyone with a weirdly thick desk like I do since a lot of the versions of keyboard trays that have c clamps don't really fit ones that are around 1.75 inches thick.

Easy to install, difficult to slide
Out of the box, this keyboard drawer installed very easily. Be sure to measure exactly where you install your slide, by design the stops on the front end limit how far forward the tray slides. Obvious, I know, but just be sure it is placed so the tray can both extend as far forward as you need and also slide back as far out of the way as you need.Because the whole thing is supported by a central arm (as opposed to a pair of supports on either side of the tray, it can feel a little wobbly to type on if your keyboard isn't centered on the tray. If you intend to have both your keyboard and mouse on the tray, this may not be the one for you. Finally, out of the box the sliding action is very stiff. It is literally just a pair of plastic inserts sliding inside two grooves. I found it difficult to slide in and out without feeling like I was applying an uncomfortable amount of force. However, a solid squirt of WD-40 inside each groove limbered it right up. There is still enough friction that it holds in place while in use, but is much more comfortable to slide in and out without undue force.

VIVO la VIVA!!!
When it comes to desks and stands. VIVO is a great product. this Keyboard platform works great and fits perfect along the side at an angle as my VIVO desk is a motor adjustable so the motor was getting in the way of the bracket if I centered it in the center. It's nice and wide and to hold almost 2 keyboards but definitely enough space for keyboard and mouse. It can also be adjusted in an angle or flat.

Watch out when you mount this ! and it does not slide very clean
I spent $85 would I do it again?. Packaged arrived very neatly. I was excited to get underway. I unloaded my desk so I could tip it on its side to avoid working upside down on the floor, not everyone has this option,. The included instructions were very poor, and it noted that you align the bracket so it is very near the front edge of the desk. I did that. After assembling everything and tilting the desk back up and sliding in the rest of the unit I found that when it is stored all the way, it's still sticks out 3 inchs. Not good as I do a lot of drawing and it's in the way. So I took the desk back down. Removed the bracket moved it in 3 inches and re-mounted it. This solved the problem. But it wasted another 30 minutes that could've been addressed easily in the crappy instructions. Even their product video shows them mounting it wrong. (the insall video runs at the end of the sales video. Why? Whoever made the video could have done better, and mounting it the way they did I would have used a clamp to hold it in place while i drill the holes . I don't understand why an $85 product can't have a good instruction sheet to avoid extra work and possibly a return back to Amazon. The second thing is, I noticed another reviews people said it wasn't very sturdy. It's made out of very heavy metal. I find it to be sturdy enough for me because I don't pound on the keyboard. So no issue. The issue is there's no bearings for this to slide on. They include (and I have a photo of it here) a little metal runner that goes on each side of the park that moves so you're not sliding metal on metal. I sprayed a little silicone in there to help it move smoother, but it's still not very smooth and I'm concerned how long this little piece of plastic is gonna last. The rest of the mechanism is fine it tilts and swivels, just as they show it. In their eagerness to get a sale, they left out and didn't spend the time and helping the customer install it. I have 200+ videos on my website, showing my customers how to install fix and repair things. The seller seems to not want to spend that time. Too bad it pays off. I was hoping for a high-quality unit and I would not buy it again. I'd buy a cheap one that has rails with bearings in them so you can slide in and out as needed easily with one hand.. You're not going to do this with this product. Thank you for reading my review.

Photo doesnt do it justice
Its kinda heavy BUT I love the length of the desk tray! I have a split keyboard, and the keypad is not attached along with my mouse, so I needed space! I love it

Possibly a five-star product for many people. One-star for me.
The black version's tray comes in two pieces. While they connect together very stiffly (better than I expected), they are not perfectly flat, so a keyboard rocks on the tray as well.I would trade for a one-piece version, but the entire setup is too shaky. The design itself also does not allow one to mount it in a way that allows for both full extension when in use and fully hidden when not in use.Personal dislikes; The tray at my old office could very quickly be height-adjusted just by lifting the front of the tray. Angle was adjusted using a knob. On this one, both height and angle are adjusted by loosening a lever, adjusting, and then tightening. That means every time you lower the tray to store under your desk, you have to readjust the angle. If you can handle a small amount of wobble and do not mind fiddling with the lever every time you use the tray, then I highly recommend this product. But it is a complete failure for my needs.
