It's an amazing soap. Indian companies are making really quality products at such low prices without compromising with quality. Amazing. Scent is great, i personally have no problem with it. Oceanic blue, most people will like it and the one's who don't like it will not dislike it, it's that kind of scent, I'm sure no one will dislike it. The Box/ container quality is really really good believe me. The smooth pivot of the box cap is so smooth and satisfying. I know it's a small thing but small things like this make customer experience great. In just 15-20 seconds great Lather Formation! I used a Merkur 34c, Pearl Brush (399 rupees, i don't remember the name), Bombay shaving after shave balm and Bombay shaving alum bar. Great experience, no nicks no cuts.

1- Packaging - Decent packaging, comes in black plastic box which is durable. (8out of 10) 2- Inside soap- As I opened the lid i found small eyebrow size hair stuck inside the soap, called Amazon shared picture, got refunded and got soap for free. So quality assurance of pink wolf sucks. (3out of 10) 3- Scent- The scent is very much similar to paan if you had eaten, it is refreshing and makes you feel good. If you like pann like smell you will feel like heaven , there is no Oudh smell, as agarwood(oudh) is very very expensive and it is illegal to grow it in wild comes under cites and wildlife protection act of 1972, so just a marketting gimmick. But definitely pann like smell. I love it. ( 8.5 out of 10) 4- Slickness- Good sleekness , no razor burns, no Knicks cut. (9 out of 10) 5- Herbal quantity- Almost herbal, and vegan ( i guess) (9 out of 10) 6- Lather- Use a decent quality brush, dip it in water for 6-8 mins, add few droplets of water on soap, swirl brush in soap just 7-8 times, bus that's it you will have lather for 4 passes. I don't know why people are saying no lather or less lather, either they are newbies in wet shaving, or have low quality brush or need a brain transplant.. So lather wise great product. (10 on 10). Would i recommend- Ahmmmm yeah not bad wrt price. Will I buy it again- Maybe, will give trigodon a shot.. Total number out of 10- 8.9 For newbies and professional yeah just go for it, it's worth to buy.. I used following products with this soap- Hajamat sycthe razor ( gunmetal finish) Gillette willkinson sword( India made) Bombay shaving brush.. Soap ofcourse - oudh and sandalwood by pink wolf

I have used product twice. What I have experience I'm sharing. Product promise to give smooth shaving experience which not true. I have applied cream atleast for 10min before shaving which did not couse any softing of hair and skin, which couses abresion on my skin. And no benifits post shaving effect been observed. It's my personal opinion. I would not recommend this product.

I have been using shaving gels and foams for past 25 years and decided to go the old school way using a shaving soap and brush. The scent is OK and mild - as I was trying for the first time didn't have much expectation. It takes a while to generate lather compared to few others I have tried. You need a good beaver hair or synthentic beaver hair brush to generate lather (avoid cheap nylon ones as they wont lather up). Use a bowl, lathering directly on the face didnt work . The soap is medium hard and does not come off as a paste which is good as it helps you draw just the right amount for a shave. On application I found that it dries off quickly, tried adding water and it became runny. I am used to a moderately thin coat of lather and ended up applying again after having shaved 1 side. Leaves a soft feel after shaving. I reserve 1 STAR for the ease of generating lather, otherwise a good product and I see it will last a while.
