Her story is so inspirational, motivational & colorful and her lettering techniques are so fun. The instructions are very easy to follow and she has lots of fun projects. Maghon, I purchased your book Happy Hand Lettering from Amazon. I received it yesterday and I have read every word in it. I want to thank you for such an awesome book. It made me smile reading it. Can’t wait to put it into practice. This is one of the best books I have read in a long time (I love books so I read all kinds of books often). I do believe it is my favorite book (ties with Anne of Green Gables). Thank you for spreading happiness. I cannot express how reading this book has affected me and given me hope and inspiration. This is different from any book I have read. If I don’t do another thing with it other than read it ( oh, but I do plan on doing other things with it) it has lifted my spirits. I love this book! It is so fun and easy to use. I had the pleasure of getting to meet Maghon in person at her book signing and she was just as sweet as you would imagine. If you are looking for a great book to learn (happy) hand lettering, this is for you! There are lots of great projects in there that you can use to practice your technique. LOVE it!

Maghon is amazing with her hand-lettering! Her book did not disappoint at all! It is VERY thick and big, and it is coiled, which makes it so much easier to work on the individual pages inside. Maghon far exceeded my expectations when publishing this book! I plan to buy more (I’m keeping my copy forever!) to give as gifts to friends! If you want to learn fun hand lettering, this is the one and only book you’ll ever need to buy!

Overall, I like this book. I wish there were tracing papers to practice but it’s a lot of good information. I have decent handwriting so for me, it was interesting to see how differently we write. I always write downstroke. The pretty lettering depends a lot on upstroke and combining letters. It’s useful. I have to do everything in pencil still and go over it with a marker, so you can tell I’m still learning, but I think it’s a great book, and would be a good gift!

I bought this book as I do with all creative books, a major intent to be creative and create the Pinterest project of my dreams... only to be let down by the frustrating explanations or my perfectionist nature stomping through and making the project no longer fun. This book has allowed me to be free to make mistakes and it takes so much pressure off to be perfect! I can make fun, cute hand lettered items that are ALL me. Don't hesitate, just get this book and enjoy learning how to make your notes and projects happy again!

Bought the book because I really enjoy following Maghon & All She Wrote Notes on IG and taking in her positive approach to life and lettering. I have LOTS of lettering and faux calligraphy books and this one is the best. If you are a beginner, buy it. If you’re experienced, buy it. There is plenty to learn from Maghon. You won’t be disappointed. UPDATE: I have purchased 2 more of these books as gifts and both people are LOVING learning the letters!!

I LOVED this book from the minute I saw it - bright, colourful, easy to understand, lovely pictures and examples and Maghon seemed to be such a lovely person, it radiates out of the book.If you moved in next door to her she would be the type of person to bring you a lasagne to welcome you to the neighbourhood - you just know it. She's happy, she's kind and she's a good Christian.There are a lot of tips and exercises to get the most of your hand lettering practise and the book is a joy to hold. My only criticism is the fact that half way through reading the book I wondered if this was a practical hand lettering book - or a book about God. Maghon speaks freely about her beliefs - which is absolutely fine- but they are not everyone's beliefs. The book is littered with bible verse and references to God and to be honest it left me a little disappointed.I wanted to read up about hand lettering - not religion and whatever your beliefs are, I don't think it's right to try and impose them on other people. If it wasn't for this, the review would give 5 stars.
