Easy to install
One of my first purchases after I bought my Phantom 3 Professional.Easy to install, as all of the hardware and installation tools are included. You get replacement screws for the Phantom 2 and the Phantom 3. You also get a hex wrench for both size screws. I read a few reviews where they didn't receive ALL the tools necessary. I ordered mine the first part of September 2015 and it came with EVERYTHING necessary - except the Phantom 3, of course! With all the paranoia of drones spying on people as you're flying around, and the obvious harm that could come from direct contact with a flying quad copter, these provide ME with some level of additional safety. We use our P3P for weddings, engagement sessions and bridal portraits in our photography business and safety is a HUGE concern.I placed the orange guards at the front so that I can easily tell the orientation of the quad copter. Even against a bright sky it's fairly easy to tell which way the quad copter is oriented.I probably should have used some loctite when I installed these, as I've had to tighten them after every 3-4 flights. These quad copters produce a HUGE amount of vibration - even though your video is silky smooth - and these WILL loosen over time. Please check your prop guards and tighten them if necessary. But, be careful not to over tighten as it could damage your expensive investment.I did lose some flight time and speed after installing these, but the added safety is a trade off I'm willing to accept. Not a lot, maybe 2 minutes per battery charge of flight time is deducted.Highly recommended and should be one of your first purchases after your P3 quad copter purchase.

I lightly bumped into a steel rack support while filming and they shattered and took out a prop just for good measure, I'm sure
the second you pick these up and look at them you can tell the difference between the guards that came with the drone and these, the snap on/off guards i had where lighter and flimsy, I lightly bumped into a steel rack support while filming and they shattered and took out a prop just for good measure, I'm sure there would have been more damage if i hadn't used the thread supplied, I had to cut my filming short and waited all of two days for my new guards and props to arrive. These guards are more then twice as thick, Have to use the screw on supports under the prop arms because the others I had are just too small for these. When they arrived i installed them and went back on site to continue filming, I hit the same port just to prove a point and didn't have a single problem for the rest of the day.Install is easy, turn your drone over on to the props/ motors, unscrew the 4 hex screws that correspond with the guard supports, use the hex screws supplied, 10 minutes and you're done.I placed the orange guards to the front.I'm yet to fly at a high enough speed to see the guards in the film/ screen but i use the guards in doors only so I can't see them being an issue.I like that these snap on/off and are still not to thick to store in my case for future use.Get these, much cheaper then buying new props all the time.

Snap on, Snap off, Prop Guards delight - simple concept - drone lover's dream
Expert or not, it's good to use safety kits like this, you'll thank yourself later when it helps protect your propellers from those nasty fingers trying to grab the propellers and cutting their fingers off. Well, it might not exactly go that way, but I do appreciate having the propeller guards on mine. It's protected my propellers a couple of times or I like to think it does. I've only crashed it against a wall once so far and snapped off the two propellers on the rear side of the phantom 3 pro, luckily the propeller guards kept the quad from a worse damage when it fell from hitting the wall. What I love about this product is that once it's assembled on your DJI Phantom, you have the option of snapping on the prop guards or not. It also helps when you need to store it back into your bag. I use the Browser backpack for my DJI Phantom Pro 3. It's a tight fit but the prop guards are no problem once you remove them and push the drone into the cut fitting mold in your backpack. It didn't come as clean as I would have hoped, you do see some manufacturing flaws like extra bits still stuck to the guards, you can easily use a razor or knife to cut the bits off if you care about perfection.

Outstanding! A Must-buy.
This has completely protected my Phantom 3 Standard many times in rollovers in high winds, no damage to props. The protection of the drone is excellent, and the protection of people and objects is likewise excellent. The orange and black make it very obvious from long range which way the drone is facing, and thus helps one fly it precisely. The only downside is that, like all attachments, you will have a slight performance impact. There is a little bit more drag from crosswinds, and a little lift is lost from the support arms, and the additional weight.I use the P3S mainly for very heavy and max performance lifting, in winds up to about 21 km/h (6 m/s). I also have skids, camera protector, and cargo release mechanism installed. Total weight of all 4 things are 222 g. I lift 350g for engineering projects in classes I teach, with high drag cargo (esp. parachutes) in high winds (effective total weight about 1.2kg + basic P3S weight). These protectors have yet to fail, even in the most erratic winds and swinging cargo.

check the size - this was to big for my RC plane
Good idea to keep fingers away from spinning prop, but too big to fit on my plane. I couldn't find size info, so I took a chance and lost.Product was just what I wanted, but too big.
