Q: I need the level of water in an earth box planter. it has a 1" fill tube. is it possible to measure the level using this product? thanks

I used this to level the ground under my above ground swimming pool. I drove stakes in the ground and made a mark on each stake about 2' from the ground using this to make all the marks level. Then I measured down from the marks. The level works very good if used correctly.

Q: What size are the tubes? 1/2 inch? Could I put a tee connector between the hose adapter and tube?

the tubes are about 1/2 inch. you could put a tee between the hose and the tubes but you don't need one to use the level. you can fill the hose and tube from a spigot, then close the valve on the fill connection. once you replace the fill end tube, you open the valve to let the water achieve the same level as it shows on the other end of the line. harder to describe than to do. once you have the hose and tubes full of water, the valve helps you move the level set up without letting the water flow out during the move.

Q: Are the fittings brass as pictured or all plastic? Thanks!

Yes the fittings are plastic but your right they sure look like brass in the picture. It does work good and it's the best way to find level long distance--unless you happen to be a surveyor.

Q: How many feet long is this?

The product itself (composed of two tubes) is just over one foot long each. The tubes attach to a garden hose of any length.
