🔴#1 HONEST(Unbiased) REVIEW of Best budget smartphone [Samsung Galaxy M40][Full Review]
The media could not be loaded. NOTE: DON'T BUY SAMSUNG GALAXY M40 BEFORE READING THIS,TRUST ME YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!》 Lets not waste time and let me tell you this infinity O display looks amazing first i wasn't thinking of buying it cuz this hole seems to be a distracting hole but after giving it a try i have to say it doesn't bother me now and this punch hole is now the talk of the town in my circle i'm not a samsung fanboy but this time their efforts are well paid off .If u seem to be a tech nerd like me you can understand what i wanna explain in my detailed review●● If you want to get quick overview of the device, then read below else scroll down for Detailed Review ●●》 If you are looking to buy a mid-range smartphone that offers a large display for watching videos, has a respectable camera and looks stylish, I think you should probably consider the Galaxy M40.👍🏻 Pros😍 Infinity O display (Punch-hole camera)😍 Design feels premium😍 Type-C port with fast charging support😍 Snapdragon chipset 675 (first in M series)😍 32MP Triple Camera with a dedicated lens for ultra-wide shots👎🏻 Cons😕 Missing audio jack(but includes type c earphones)😕 The battery could have been bigger🔴B.O.T'S QUICK VERDICT፨ There's arguably nothing apart from the punch-hole design, SD675 and the 32MP primary camera that makes the M40 a 'better' smartphone than the M30.፨ I liked the rear camera, software experience, and the display of the M40, but it fails to match up to the value that the Galaxy M30's battery .🔴B.O.T'S OVERALL SCORE - 9/10🔴B.O.T'S DETAILED SCORES》 Design: 9/10》 Display: 10/10》 Performance: 9/10》 Cameras: 9/10》 Battery: 7/10》 Overall: 9/10🔴B.O.T'S QUICK SHOTS፨ Galaxy M40, is the first mid-range phone from the company with its Infinity O display.፨ The front camera is under the display in the hole punch on the top left of the screen and this has helped Samsung achieve a near bezel-less display.፨ Samsung Galaxy M40 is priced Rs 19,990 and like the Galaxy M10, 20, and 30, this remains an online exclusive.፨ Another feature that stands out is the On Screen sound technology where the display doubles up as a speaker.፨ There are three cameras at the back and a Snapdragon 675 processor.፨ I spent a few days with the Samsung Galaxy M40 and here is My Detailed review:●●FULL DETAILED REVIEW●●👉 DESIGN & OMG DISPLAY፨ It comes with a "Glastic" back as per Samsung it’s a plastic which feels glass-like and gives a premium look, which I liked.፨ It feels light in weight and solid in hand (only 168g)📷 Punch Hole has a 4mm Diameter & bottom chin is about 4.5mm thin፨ I bought the Seawater Blue colour option which looks stylish, thanks to the slight gradient effect.፨ Though a small addition, the middle camera sensor at the back has a silver ring around it, which stands out very subtly. Love these minute details!፨ Comes with the first in segment infinity o display, which is a head turner in just 20k!!፨ The punch hole screen has a 91% screen to body ratio, with very narrow bezels with a little chin but less than iphone xs፨ Plus a Widevine L1 certification is good to see, which allows for watching Full HD content on Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.፨ Sound on display and NFC as this price point is great.፨ SAR Value 0.200 W/Kg at least Samsung cares for our health👉 CAMERA🔸32MP Triple Rear Camera፨ You'll get a 3 camera combination all i experienced is it performs well in well-lit-situations፨ Portrait shots came out really well defined and the background blurred፨ Don't expect much in dimly lit situations as the pictures lacked details and were not quite sharp.🔸Front Camera፨ The 16MPshooter does a good job in daylight. i especially liked the ones with beauty features turned off.፨ The pictures look sharp enough with details & colors seemed close to natural, which i liked. However ,i noticed that some photos looked burnt out.፨ The Low-Light performance was a bit of a miss as the camera ends up losing details in photos & smoothing the edges, which makes it look artificial.👉 PERFORMANCE፨ Samsung Galaxy M40 is powered by the same Snapdragon 675 processor, same as rival Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro.፨ Frankly, day-to-day performance is not an issue on the phone as it can handle most daily tasks such as making calls, messaging, browsing social media, listening to songs, etc with ease.፨ PUBG can be played on high settings፨ I did not notice lag or stutters while switching between tabs, even with multiple tabs open. The apps opened quickly.፨ There is no 3.5 mm headset jack, which could be an issue for some users but now i've shifted to bluetooth devices but still i would love the option.፨ By the way thanks to samsung for Type-c Earphones In box👉 GAMING🎮 I played graphics-heavy games like Asphalt 9 without a stutter for up to 30 minutes. There were no noticeable frame drops & heating issues which is great. The phone does get a little warm from the top within 15-20 minutes when playing such games.🎮 Also i played PUBG on high settings and the game had a sooth experience.👉BATTERY🔋 The 3,500mAh battery lasts for a day with moderate usage, which includes making calls, streaming music, watching videos for about two hours daily, and browsing social media.🔋 The battery is smaller than 5,000mAh on Samsung’s own Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M30 as well as Galaxy A50 in the same price bracket, which is a bit disappointing.🔋 A full charge from about 20 per cent battery left takes a little over an hour(1hr 36min) (comes with a 15W Type-C Fast Charger in the box, as compared to Redmi Note 7 Pro, where u need to buy a fast charger separately).👉 VERDICT⚡ Samsung Galaxy M40 appears to be a decent phone for the price. really a OMG deal with Infinity O display!!⚡ Yes, there are multiple options in the market like the Redmi Note 7 Pro and Moto G7, but still I genuinely liked the Galaxy M40.⚡ It gets a lot of things right, and that’s what matters to average users at the end of the day.⚡ If you are looking to buy a mid-range smartphone that offers a large display for watching videos, has a respectable camera and looks stylish, I Think you should probably consider the Galaxy M40.⚡ I've to say it’s kind a Best smartphone under 20000 which has premium features under budget.🔴If you have any Doubt regarding this Review or this Product, then Feel Free to Contact me or Just ask me by commenting below. The Best Sub 20K Phone I could have bought.
So I've had this phone for about 5 days now, but I think that should be enough for me to review it.This is my first phone ever and so I was carefull in researching which one I should buy, and I settled for the Galaxy M40 (midnight blue).Screen Quality:Aside from the quality of the black colours I could not find any difference between the Amoled panel of the Galaxy M30. The colours look vibrant and lively and the brightness levels too are very good. No problem in viewing it in broad daylight. The difference in Black too is noticeable only when you have something to compare it with and you look at it in dark environment. So I have absolutely no complaints there. The Hole Punch display makes it look highly desirable too.Camera: The Camera modes are exceptionally diverse and you'll find every setting you could wish for. Hyperlapse, Slo Mo, Super Slo Mo, everything. The wide angle lens is the most useful feature of this setup for me. The colours look realistic if not poppy (which you can alter in the settings). Also you have to manually set the camera to it's highest resolution in the settings. The details could have been better for a 32 MP Sensor, but they are very good nonetheless.Hardware: The hardware is arguably the best you could find under the 20000 INR range. The only phone that compares is POCO F1. The SD 675 Is highly competent at handling pretty much anything you throw at it and the RAM management is good too. It can play PUBG at (High, HD, Shadows enabled) with ease. The phone is light and a little slippery due to it's "Glasstik" back. The back looks very premium. Better buy a protective case with this.Battery: Now this is something about the phone that might be a dealbreaker. The battery fast charges to full in an Hour and 30 mins and is enough for regular use (Social Media, an hour of moderate gaming) even upto a day and probably more. But that's it. If you plan on doing intensive tasks without a plug nearby, you could be in trouble. The absence of a headphone jack adds to the problem with you not being able to charge while listening to music. So tread carefully.Overall,I'd easily recommend this phone to anyone in the market for the 20K segment. I could not have made a better choice (as of now). The phone ticks each box except for battery capacity. It's a Samsung( with a brand value that Xiaomi, Poco, Vivo and oppo cannot match) so I highly doubt you'll have any post purchase issues.Thank you, for reading the review.
