These work great if you have a good dust extraction system. gets most of the dust through the mesh and keeps your work area clean.

Abranet makes a quality sanding disc. They are durable & provide fantastic smooth surfaces as you increase the grit number. I use them on wood and epoxy with no worries about swirls, as long as you keep them clean it’s a large gum eraser as needed. This is the only sanding disc I use.

I'm not sure why I haven't bought these before with the amount of sanding I do. Dust collection is MUCH better than using a regular disc. The discs seem to last quite a bit longer since they don't load up. The disc itself is kinda thin but I believe that is an advantage. Step up from big box discs and buy these now!

The 80 grit Mirka Abranet discs don't seem to have any advantage over the regular granat 80 grit pad from festool - perhaps less life, in fact. Used on end grain walnut where I really needed a long-lived abrasive and was disappointed. Later; Put a gently used one on the pad protector (Festool) and it started cutting well - these are pretty good, in fact.

These sanding disks allow for superior dust collection and have great longevity in all grits but 80 and it seems to come of base plate on orbital sanders quicker than the others even with the hook and loop adapter. Still better than the alternatives.

Worth every penny! I got about 10x more use per sheet vs cheap paper, and about 3-4x more use per sheet vs 3M. For an example, one sheet sanded clean an intire C4 Corvette hood and bumper cover. Three sheets to do the whole car (convertible/ no top or pillars). One box has lasted me 4 car repaints. Back to order more.

We all know the part we hate the most about most projects...the sanding, and the dust, and the poor quality of big box store sanding disks. This product makes that hated task a beeze. Superior dust handling if your sander is hooked up to a dust collector or vacuum. Consistent grit, so it won't leave scratches. If you haven't tried this product you should. It's not 3M, but very close, and the dust removal due to the net design is great.

These are exactly as described by Amazon. The real deal Mirka abranet six inch sanding disks. These are hands down the best mesh style disks you can find on the market. They are reusable provided that you clean them well and don't over sand. They should last you several uses which is a bonus compared to non mesh disks. Great price for the quality.

They don’t gum up like regular sandpaper discs reducing swirl marks in my resin projects!
