I love these lip scrubs! I know there has been some concern as to whether or not the darker-hued scrubs stain skin, so I'll just share my experience. I'm super light-skinned, so if anything were to stain my skin, it'd definitely show up. I tried using the apple and cherry scrubs multiple times yesterday all over my lips, and didn't experience any staining on or around my lips. Sure, my lips turned a little redder, but that's just what happens when you exfoliate. But in my experience, the color in the scrubs do not stain the skin. I love the scent of the cherry and apple scrubs! They are delicious! The vanilla scent is a little disappointing, only because I think I was expecting MORE vanilla (it's just not very scented at all). The almond also smells yummy, which is great! These are very exfoliating, and I don't have any problems with the consistency, so I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for affordable lip scrubs.

PSA: It's not vegan the first ingredient is lanolin I paid <$8 for this 4 pack after I bought just one of these at a drug store for $5, so either this is an amazing deal or I was royally ripped off.. Either way I like this stuff. It's mostly creamy rather than grainy; I would describe it as a moisturizer with a very light exfoliant. I'd recommend using it often (like twice a day) to get better results, and I also apply it with a dry toothbrush which helps exfoliate more. The petroleum feeling is real and it is hard to get the oily residue completely off your lips (I use it before I get in the shower so I have plenty of opportunity to rinse well) but I'm not complaining because it leaves them feeling moisturized rather than raw and dry. Ingredients (per the almond creme): Lanolin, Soybean oil, Tocopherol, Mineral Oil, Polybutene, Vegetable oil, Petrolatum, Beeswax, Ceresine, B H T , Walnut Shell, Vitamin F and Fragrance (may contain: Red 7, Red 6 and Titanium Dioxide)

Honestly... they're okay. I feel like the consistency of the scrubs are that of petroleum and molasses.. if you are intending on buying this I'm going to tell you the best way to use them. Basically start off with clean lips, get a tiny swab with a q-tip, wouldn't really use my fingers because it gets stuck under my nails. Apply it on JUST your lips with the q-tip and then make a big smiley face and scrub your lips against each other (or use your finger for extra scrubbing). After this, grab a moist paper towel or washcloth and then you can wipe it off. Overall, I did not like it.. felt like it left a thick greasy feeling and couldn't come off with water. I mean they are moisturizing and somewhat exfoliating, just really wish they didn't use petroleum..

After what seems like a long winter it is nice to have some lip scrub that makes my lips oh so smooth without causing a chemical reaction. I used to make my own lip scrubs but after some time and life getting busier it seems I never have the time to do anything anymore, much less make lip scrubs. These have a great hint of taste while all the same they aren't overpowering in the smell department. I also love that they come in black containers so if I accidentally leave one out in my car the direct uv or sun contact doesn't interfere with the components and compounds in the formula. I for sure see myself buying many more of these in the future as they keep my lips super soft and kissable. Echoing another reviewer's thoughts - Cheaper is NOT better... I wanted some variety to the only lip scrub I've purchased so far (OMH - Horchata - which is fabulous)... Thought I was getting a great deal - and instead what I got was STICKY GOB! I tried the Dark Cherry yesterday and the consistency is like PASTE and it stains your lip area... it was nearly impossible to get off... had to use a cloth with makeup remover.. the residue was so thick.. I had to clean my sink afterwards... awful stuff.. While I get they are trying to keep your lips moisturized while exfoliating... it had far too much vegetable oil or whatever else they used.... The brand I mentioned above - the scrub is loose - just like a sugar srub for your body -and rinses off clean and easy... this product is so inferior - I wouldn't even use it on my feet... I'm tossing them all... Save your money - and try another brand.

I've only tried the Almond and the Cherry. I like the Almond since there is more 'grit' in there to really take away the dead skin. The Cherry is a bit lighter. So on days where I have a lot of dead skin, I use the Almond and other days I use the Cherry. Will update once I use the apple or vanilla. I do have to say that this is my first time using a lip scrub, so I'm not sure exactly what to expect. It is heavy with grease, or more like a really greasy feeling, but it keeps my lips moisturized. I love it when I use the scrub and then put on lipstick. It makes it go on smoother and looks nicer, even with cheap lipstick. A little sure does go a long way and so far like the results.

I love this product! I have EXTREMELY dry cracked lips due to a medication I take and using this scrub really helped get off the dead dry skin. I had to rub for at least a minute, but, like I said, my lips were peeling badly. Afterwards I wiped it off with a wet washcloth and my lips felt silky smooth and soft. They may feel tender afterwards depending on how hard/long you scrub. The texture afterwards was just a little like Vaseline but it made my lips feel great! Smell and taste aren't really noticeable but still a great product!
