Easy peasy
The directions were clear, and the unit worked perfectly to replace the one that had been shorted out by a storm. I think the short saved my thermostat from frying!It is an exact replacement for the previous unit.

Works Perfectly!
Perfect solution to install a 5-wire smart wi-fi thermostat needing a c-wire in a home with only 4 wires in the wall. No loss in functionality and requires no power. Just connect between thermostat and furnace.

Worked perfect to install my new thermostat. I called a HVAC company to install since I don’t have C wire and they told me this part was $85 for them to install! Glad I knew what I needed and could have it delivered next day!!

Great solution to add wifi thermostat
Older home (ca.1989) with thermostat 4-wire in wall (no C wire). Hence most wifi thermostats need work around. If you do the in-thermostat solution, you lose low speed fan function. So, need a C-wire or this wiring module. For my furnace, a bit tricky to find a mounting position that did not require penetrating the combustion chamber or exterior of enclosure while still providing adequate room to run the wires. Ended up using an old bracket from window valence and old metal plate from bottom of old sliding door shade to fashion a mounting bracket for this module. Easier other options likely exist. Once wired, all good. Love the solution though wish it'd been less costly. Particularly loved no need to pull wires thru walls (impossible on second floor anyway)!

Definitely need when using the G-wire solution.
Easy to install. Just buy thermostat wire and your all set. Doesn’t need to be mounted either.
