I am a 64 year old woman who has bitten her nails all my life. I have always hid my hands and the only rings I wear are my wedding rings. Always embarrassed of my bitten nails. I got this and started putting it on my nails daily. It tastes absolutely horrible. Before I knew it, a week had passed and no biting. It has worked fantastically for me. I am now more than 2 months with no biting and actually got my first manicure! My nails are beautiful! I highly recommend this for anyone wanting to stop.

I have had this product for a week and a half already and have not bitten my nails since its first day on my fingers. Reviews about its taste being strong are false (from my experience). It is certainly bitter and you will make a face, it also does linger and stick to your lips for a few minutes. However, this should not be regarded as a bad thing. After nearly 18 years of biting my nails, the damage will certainly show as I age even if I stop now. You do not deserve to go easy on yourself to break this habit. Suffer now (and honestly, it's not that bad) and kick this habit before it hurts you permanently.Pros:Since I started applying it, I am 100x more conscious about my fingers in my mouth area. When I eat foods that require eating with my hands, I'm more cautious about finger placement. This connects to later when I'm bored so that I don't bite my fingers for fear of the taste.The taste. Quite bitter, and makes you remove your finger and lick your lips for a few minutes to get the taste off - tells you to not do it again.Cons:The taste lingers and if you apply it wrong, you might not even have to contact your fingers to your mouth to taste it, but this is a user error. Not really a con, but you need to be aware and use your brain to help you not bite as well - it isn't automatic, you need to train yourself to not bite.TLDR --- It is an effective >$10 solution that can get you through your bad habit granted you also put in some work to make sure you kick the habit.

Works very well! I'm still a habitual nail-biter but its been cut down! I wish there was a little more in the bottle though... It's not perfect, as anything I touch would have that same bitter taste for a few hours, even after my nails were dry... it would also impact my other nail polish by making it chip off faster? It's a good product and id get it again but I'd rather just have hangnails at this point.

Works as intended. I’ve chewed my nails for 25 years and this got me to stop. The battery acid taste is a great deterrent. I put it on my nails once a day for a couple of weeks and that was enough. Great product!

It feels off after a day or two. It does taste bad and helped me to stop biting. I dont apply it as often as suggested just once and reapply when it peels. It does seem to take a little bit of nail when it peels. I dont by any means have brittle or bad nails. For biting they are healthy and strong.

This is the first Amazon review I have written in my life after buying Amazon product for 10 years. We have been struggling with our 3.5 year old with finger sucking and have literally done everything in the books. EVERYTHING. However this product literally killed the habit in a stress free easy way. We were literally shocked as parents how well this worked. Now how we did it? We never told her it was to get rid of sucking or that sucking was bad, instead we told her the product was to strengthen her nails and every time we completed applying the polish she could pick 2 stickers. WE LOVED it and the PRODUCT helped 1000%.

This product gets a 5 out of 5 for stopping the bite lol. It is almost unbearable when you completely forget the product is on and you put your fingers even the slightest bit to your mouth. I give it a 2 out of 5 for versatility because it doesn’t just stop with nail biting, the taste gets on your food, on your fingers, literally everywhere. I’m determined to stop biting my nails so I have been eating finger foods with gloves on and I have been applying Vaseline and things like that with a cotton swab just to avoid it. So you definitely learn what you can and can’t do. The instructions say twice daily but I think that is superduper overkill seeing as though how strong it is. Anybody in the review section saying that it’s not strong and it can easily be washed off or peeled off, is simply lying. It somehow literally soaks into everything, peeling it off hasn’t gotten rid of the taste, and washing your hands with soap doesn’t help at all. I honestly would probably put it on a couple times a week if that.
