Works perfectly fine

Used to run video over Cat6. Runs ranged from 18m to 55m. The long snd short of it is, they work. But they are very fiddly, and they are not officially “Baluns” by any means. They can be a bit fiddly and really do require a good connection. For me I ended up stripping a decent length of cat6 and doubling it over a few times before inserting into terminal. I then looped the cable around a little and cable tied to the “balun.” This reduced the risk of the cable being snagged. Overall they are inexpensive and after a bit of messing around they have done the job and suitably display the 2mo and 4mp video successfully without any interference. Each camera has a unique power supply too. To add, the terminals themselves are pretty decent.

If you do CCTV Installations and repairs, these items are a must for your kit.

I needed these to get Cat5 cable to cameras and DVR. They are too loose at the BNC connector. When fully tightened they are still loose and cause lots of poor imagery. Binned sadly. I will have to pay more money. My error. Maybe on some set ups they will work but on mine the image is terrible and drops out. Good connectors though.
