I did a lot of research looking for a new anchor line. I wanted appropriate line strength & length for our boat.This 3/8" Double braided nylon has a 820lb working load, and 4K breaking strength!Good size and length for our 23' boat. I use a 25' anchor buddy between our anchor and this line. The thimble makes the anchor buddy connection solid and chafe free. I don't use the stainless steel snap hook to attach the anchor end (anchor buddy in this case), I use a screw shackle for that connection. Instead I use the shackle to clip to a D ring, quick and easy. I've used all 100', and I've tied off mid line without issue. The nylon ties easily, and will hold a mid line loop without slipping.When it's time to stow for longer term storage, I just throw it out on the dock for a little bit. Being black, it dries quickly in the sun. After it is good to go and coils easily.Highly recommended!

I purchased this to hold my new Fortress FX-11 anchor. Set both in strong current and wind and this line held the anchor with no problems. The anchor was set deep in the soft sand and this line stood up to the tough conditions. The stainless steel clip seems string and well made. I will probably switch it out for a shackle just to be certain. Since I purchased the longer line of the 2 this company offers in 3/8" I plan to cut the line down to 50' and whip the end. I will save the rest as this line gets tired.

Haven't used it yet, but the anchor and chain is attached to the new anchor line, and ready to be loaded on the boat. But having commercial fished in Alaska for many years, I can tell it's quite nice, coils nicely, and should work well. Obviously it's not cable like we would use up north, but my new 18.5 footer isn't a commercial fishing vessel either! Ha Matches our new tie up lines I also bought for our little pleasure boat. Wooo lol It's quite nice tho, and I am sure it will work perfectly. I'll follow up if it doesn't perform as I think it will, but pretty confident it will.

I liked everything about this 3/8 black anchor rope , very nice product. It is what they say it is. I ordered the 150ft rope . looks well made . came on time . I would order again. Very happy .

This boat rope was a good buy. It was a lot cheaper on this particular site than in a store or other sites. I was skeptical about it but it is very good for my boating use, especially anchoring. If you are looking for some boating rope this is the one to try, you will not be disappointed!

I really enjoy the black as it hides all the dirt (so would a chain). The clip makes it very easy to store rope separate from anchor. This makes for a more clean setup in my opinion. Seems really durable and will maintain its strength but I’ve only had it three weeks tbd. I feel like I paid too much for 100ft of rope but I needed and anchor line and it’s what I want - easy done.

Good anchor line, thimble and carribeaner both good quality as well. used with my 25lb box anchor with no problems today

It sucks for anchoring. It stretches and tangles itself which is infuriating w 100 feet of line. You think you’re anchored u til the line stretches another 3 feet
