Bluewave Lifestyle Daily 8 Water Jug 2L - Sky Blue

I've gone through so many...so freaking many water bottles...First of all I'm an avid cyclist, gym goer, runner, and swimmer. Needless to say, I drink a lot of water. I've tried so many water bottles that either don't give me a good flow, or I have to untwist the cap to let air in so I can gulp properly...or are too tiny or ungainly to carry... No matter the reason, I seem to find something about each water bottle that I've had, to make me hate it. For example, I usually love Contigo products. But the contigo water bottle I had, had a very annoying way of spritzing water on me whenever I opened the autoseal lever. And eventually it began leaking. Anyway, the Bluewave jug is seriously my favorite bottle to date. It's a great size, though I go through about 3-4 refills per day still. But I wouldn't trade it for anything else. What I LOVE, is that there is a tiny air hole on the cap, so when you're drinking it, you can get a constant flow of water, you don't have to remove your mouth, to let air back inside. This sounds like a tiny matter, but it's not, that's a HUGE bonus. The cap on top has a clear lock WITH a metal locking clip... CHA CHING! double protection from spills... I'm actually thinking of ordering another so I can swap back and forth I love it...

I loved this water bottle. I had it for almost 2 years with no problems. It recently fell out of my truck full of water and smashed to pieces so that's on me. I'm about to buy this again and hope to have the same great product I had before.

Most people are not too demanding of their water jugs unless they have special athletic needs. If you're just a regular joe like me who doesn't spend their entire day on a treadmill or on the trail (and i don't mean that in a bad way), then this jug will suit you just fine. The handle is large and the build of the jug is very sturdy. Now, I'm not a water jug connoisseur so take this with a grain of salt, but I really like the cap design as well. The cap seals the opening tightly and it has a locking mechanism for when you're on the go. The only problem I had with the cap, which I'm going to chalk up to just a defective jug in the batch, was that on day 7 I opened the cap with the release button it has and the whole thing flew off. Turns out the hinge on the cap has a spring that must have come lose and couldn't hold the cap in place anymore. The spring must have been tiny because I couldn't find the darn thing to try to fix it myself. Worst part is that I was in my car and since the jug is too large to fit on the cup holder and it wasn't going to stay upright on its own, so I had to chug all 2 liters on my drive to work. Best part is that Amazon customer service came through and sent me a replacement jug with no questions asked. How funny; this is the longest review I've ever written and it's about a water jug. BOTTOM LINE: If you're someone looking to have an easy way to drink 2 liters of water a day using a jug that does the job, this jug is a fine choice. If the cap for the replacement jug doesn't break as well, I'll consider bumping it to 5 stars.

I love this!!!!! it's a good reminder for me to drink water during the day. I try to aim for two of these but one is enough. It's sturdy, I have not placed it in the freezer just because somebody here said that I would crack so I'll just add ice. It does leak the first time you take a drink but then it stops. Just tip it a different way and you'll be good. Overall I like like this gigantic bottle of water!

I recently got the bottle and just like the other reviews, I like the bottle itself, the cap however is a little flimsy. It seals shut with a spring and the spout is free flowing, thanks to a hole right on top of the spout, which means I have to be sure every time I drink it, I angle it just right so it wont spill on my shirt. I like the handle, just hope the cap was of a better quality and that that hole was better positioned, maybe on the side of the spout at the highest point and not directly on top so my nose doesn't have to hit the bottle cap every time I try to take a sip.

This jug is an absolute unit. Like a chunky little water cooler, I love the look and I get a surprising amount of comments from people who like it. I would highly recommend this as a hydration companion. It's not perfect however, if you like to drink without the straw and are left handed. The lid has an air hole so the bottle doesn't glug, but it is designed for a right handed grip. For a lefty the air hole will be below the mouthpiece when you take a swig and dribble all over. Not a problem if you use the included straw or are right handed of course but just wanted to mention it.

I want to order another so it can have one at the office and one at home on the weekends. It does leak when I first fill it up, not sure where the leak comes from when I shut the cap or maybe because I don't screw the top tight enough. Doesn't have a snap down mouth piece like other sports bottles but I chose this because of the cap. There is a hole, it's so the water can flow when you drink it.

I'm not sure how it's possible to mess up a water bottle, but these folks did it. I got it yesterday, filled it up today, and it leaks horrible from the bottom portion of the black cap. Going back. Glad I tested it before putting it in my gym bag. Everything would have been soaking wet (it leaks THAT badly!) EDITED 10/5 I decided to take a closer look at the bottle cap before returning it, and noticed that the silicone ring in the cap wasn't inserted properly. I fixed that, and (for the moment) the leaking has stopped. On another positive note: the bottle DOES encourage me to drink 64oz of water in a day, but if it starts leaking again, I'm definitely sending it back.
