My cats love this food, but it’s become too expensive. Will the price ever become reasonable again?

Great brand BUT These little cans are cubes in gel NOT pate. Makes a huge difference for picky eaters especially older cats who will not eat something new. Please update your description - I should have read the reviews.

I feed both my cat and my dog Taste of the Wild and have for years, dry and canned. It's the most affordable of the really highly rated brands; they thrive. This costs about the same as the pet store, and saves the trouble of lugging it home - I now also always buy it on Amazon.

Let me preface my review by saying that this is a wonderful brand with quality ingredients. However, my cat disliked the texture of the food, and will usually lap up the gravy first, only finally eating it if I leave it out when I'm gone all day (and he's forced to eat it) or when I mix it with some of the dry food he's used to eating. He prefers pate-style dishes, and dislikes flaked wet food as well. Keep this in mind if your cat is similar.

I personally like everything about this food. I recently switched my 3 cats over to this and they don't like it for some reason. I feed them wet food for breakfast and they are free fed kibble all day. One cat will eat all of hers. The other (which is a huge foodie and eats everything including trying to get her hands on all human food possible) will nibble on it but will never eat it all and the third absolutely refuses. Wish I could get them to start eating this. Unfortunately it was $30 down the drain for me :(
