Based on the thickness and quality of materials used, and the overall size, this product should be priced in the $10-$15 range to give best value for money. I won't say it's flimsy, but it is definitely on the lightweight side, particularly if the intent is to use it as an outside plant hanger. The actual planter receptacle is about the size of a large coffee mug, which will limit the choice of what you can plant in it. Indoor use would be a much better choice for this item.UPDATED 6/6/2019 - I was contacted by the vendor, who agreed to adjust the price downward to better reflect "value for money". They were prompt in processing a partial refund, and this indicates to me that they are interested in ensuring their customers' satisfaction with the purchases they've made. They also offered a full refund, but I declined because I can actually use the item. Consequently, I've bumped their Overall Rating up by two stars.

I love this hanging planter. It’s a great addition to any modern decor - the matte black really pops and looks great against the green of the plant and any wall color.I highly recommend using this planter with a plant that vines. Once your plant starts to vine, this planter really comes to life.This doesn’t have drainage holes, but I have put stones at the bottom of it to keep the roots from sitting in water and prevent root rot. Or you could keep your plant in a plastic nursery pot to place within this pot.

So easy to install. I just bought hooks from Lowe’s and -boom- done. The one thing I would recommend is buying a small pot to fit inside of the vase part that has a hole for drainage because it doesn’t have one. But it looks great and I’m happy I got the circle and the oval. If you get the oval option with the link chain - the chain is super long. Removing some of the links is hard to do so make sure you have the right tools if you want to make it shorter.

I absolutely love these! I wish they came in bigger sizes and with the option of longer chains. So many friends have asked for the link to buy them after seeing mine.

I’ve been looking for a more modern-looking hanging planter for my plants and bought a few different styles similar to this one (and including this one). This was by far the winner! It’s a nice gold that isn’t too yellow and fits in well with other metallic planters (bronze, aged gold, silver, chrome gold, etc) and looks fantastic with my marble queen!

I bought both the circular one and the oval one. The circle is completely awful, but the oval is okay quality. The circle’s planter portion was squished so it looked like a triangle if you looked at it from the top. Didn’t happen in shipping because it was in a big box and the box was undamaged. The bars that hold the planter in place are totally crooked, so the planter is kinda slanted as well. All of these problems and the price was absolutely ridiculous. I thought I’d be getting something sturdy enough to hang outside but it would probably not even stand up to the weight of soil and water. Didn’t return as I needed it for an event but it is extremely disappointing. The oval shaped one is way better quality than the circle, but it unfortunately is still way WAY overpriced after seeing it in person.

Abosultely LOVE this hanging pot... also love the long rod as opposed to a chain. This has a small pot, so dont use for a large plant. Bought a miniature plant with small leaves (pink panther) which looks wonderful in it. Lightweight, sleek yet simple design. A nice change from the usual rope plant hangers. Simple way to add greenery to a window or room without looking bulky. Would definitely buy again or recommend.

When it came the box was damaged and the item was crushed looking like an apple. I also dont think the box was big enough to ship the item without It being damaged.On another note i saw some reviews saying that it is smaller then it appears. That is not the case, it looks like a good size. Unfortunately I won't be able to test it out as its unusable.

This seems good, however it came via Canada post and was packaged in just a bag not a box and got damaged. I'd say if the packaging changes then it would be better.

I've seen these other places for over double the price, so I was happy to find this here for a reasonable price. Very nice planter. No drain hole, just in case you're planting something that would need one.

This set of plant stands came very fast with no damage to them. It was a super easy set up and only took minutes to do it. They were lightweight to move to where I wanted to place them and I found the circular hanging plant holders on Amazon that fit perfectly with this set.
