Muscletech Whey Peptides for Women & Men Protein Powder, 5 lbs (66 Servings) Vanilla

Bought this on a whim on Prime Day as I always wanted to try one of these powders to see if it would help me at all. I came into it expecting the worst but received the product and was overall very impressed, hence the almost 5-stars. I wish Amazon let you give a half a star because this is really a 4.5 star product.First, I was surprised at the size - there's a TON of this stuff. So how does it taste? GREAT! It literally smells like brownies. And the taste is great. Not overbearingly chocolate but a nice subtle taste. It's kind of like a chocolate milk taste but it tastes heavier. My mind can't comprehend it so its a bit weird to be "drinking" something that smells like a brownie, and with my mind knowing what it is it's a bit confusing but something I'm sure will settle in time.So why not 5 stars? Well, when I first opened the container it was somewhat clotty, kind of like brown sugar, except way finer. But, as I stirred it into my milk it seemed to dissolve nicely. I prepared mine very haphazardly for the first time, so perhaps I need to be more direct with my measurements. I took two scoops of the powder, and added it to a tall glass of milk and stirred for about a minute or so. But it really doesn't dissolve well like you would expect a powder to. To compare it to, I have used Nesquick and Miralax and this dissolved much less than either of them. It does dissolve some, but the undissolved portion settles in the middle of the glass and it kind of reminds me of "sludge" I don't know what else to call it. It's a bit of a turn-off. As you sip you get a bit of this "sludge" which is gritty and unappealing.Next time I make it, I will try it with better measurements (for example it says to use 8 or 12 oz glasses and like most people I have no clue what my glasses hold off-hand) so I'll use a measuring cup to make sure I get the ratio as mentioned. I know a lot of people make shakes and such, I don't have a blender so perhaps it also dissolves better in a shaker cup or with a blender and some hard ice cream to break it all up.I'll also update the review if I see any enhancement muscle-wise which is the main reason for trying this over regular Nesquick chocolate milk.

I got it in a good deal the flavor for me its good not amazing, I have to use my blender to (for lack of a better word) blend it better. However anytime I drink it I feel very full and satisficed this one does keeps me full for a long time and I have no idea how considering its low on calories. Obviously I'm no expert. Still for the ability to get me full, the low calories, and not hating the flavor I'll give it 4 stars.

I look at the protein grams per dollar and this was a strong buy on sale. I bought two. My two oldest have a shake every morning for breakfast with protein powder, fruit, and other stuff. Given it is mixed in with other items, I think the flavor is fine for them.I tried mixing some with just water for a post workout drink and it was acceptable but not great. Optimum Nutrition whey protein tastes much better while this was okay and slightly bitter. I would buy again at that great price however.

I ordered this for my husband after broken hip and thigh as doctor said he needed it because he was not healing. I was surprised...he likes it!

Tons of protein and shakes pretty smooth, though a few chunks are still apparent. The taste is not great, I mix with water and can't cover the taste but I still appreciate the protein content and price enough to slam it down.

Different flovor than I recall, butfine otherwise.

I mix mine in a fruit smoothie, I've not tasted it on its own but I like my smoothie. It blends really well with the fruit and all.
