ACDelco Gold 337-1036 Starter

This works great and seems to be of good quality. Install was super simple on my 1996 F150.It was cheaper than the no name brand starter at my local auto parts store.

The local repair shop was going to charge me over $250 for a rebuilt starter and about $250 labor for my 1998 F-150... total $500. I bought this new starter and worked about 1-1/2 hours installing. WELL worth the time and savings.

Works like it should

It is a direct 2 bolt fitment, it comes with a new ring terminal for the fender solenoid (sold separate} it has a pigtail ring to attatch to your solenoid wire , it wants you to cut off your blade terminal and crimp the new improved ring terminal to your existing black wire for better voltage, squealy noise spins a lot faster with this new starter my old one was hit or miss ,

Fit prefect, works as it should. No complaints.

The part fit correctly and is currently working as expected. The only reason that I did not rate it 4 stars is that the directions were not helpful at all for installing. It did however give directions on how to diagnose if the problem with the car was due to a faulty starter or not.

This starter is a new, non-refurbished, unit. It cranks hard and does a great job at being a starter. The one thing I did not like is that I payed extra for a ac delco part thinking it was USA made, however, it is not. How unfortunate. That's why I gave 4 stars.

installed it on my Mustang and turns over the car much quicker and better than the original, also it must weigh at least 2 lbs lighter

Starter doesnt work. Solenoid was dead do not recommend. Could not return as I installed it after the return period.
