Best summer purchase!
I came to the reviews before purchasing the floatchilla (named by a previous amazon purchaser...but it stuck with our family and friends 🧡This beast barley earns the name float, this is an inflatable tank. We let 5 teenage boys jump, bounce, (let's be honest... they may have tried to demolish it) but floatchilla was slightly deflated after there many attempts. We blew her back up in seconds and we're back on the water with over 1100 pounds of adult and one infant. This float with the pool portion is absolutely the best if you have a baby!!We literally couldn't find one issue...and believe you me those teenage boys find flaws faster than anyone I know.Every single one of us gives this a 5 star, and HIGHLY RECOMMEND 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Very durable and big enough for 10 people easily!
Bought this 1 year ago for floating on the river! First trip with it was AMAZING! holds so many people comfortably and having the sunken area with the shade is just great for when you need a break from the sun! I suggest buying a good pump because she takes ALOT of air! We bought the bright orange "wow" pump here on Amazon and it works flawlessly and moves a huge amount of air making inflating this giant a breeze! We are about to load up for another float trip as I type this and everyone is excited to be on this float again! Do NOT pass this up it's worth it at twice the price!

Fun!
So fun! Only used once so far, but it was exactly what we wanted. I purchased it for a girls trip and we had a blast using it. It is very large. Label reads 6 people, but we had up to 9 people at one point and the ice chest. The shade is great option too, for those that want it. I hope this lasts more than one summer. Great price too. We did need our own anchor to hold it in place (which depends on where its being used)

Avoid windy days!
I read a ton of the reviews and was really excited to use this thing. I bought an anchor, hanging ladder, and wet bag after reading them. We are planning on using it at my family’s farm pond. Unfortunately the day we took it out there were up to 30mph winds and we were immediately blown to the far side of the pond that is covered in algae and there’s no entrance. We tried paddling, pushing, and pulling and it was no use. I really wondering how anyone used this thing in the ocean without being immediately lost at sea?! Either way, it is a good size, comfortable, easy to put together. As others said the cooler is not waterproof but it is a decent size. We just used ice packs and were able to fit, fruits, veggies, cheese, dip, and drinks! I would personally forget the ladder because that didn’t help us get back into it at all. I can definitely speak to the integrity of the float because we had to drag it up a hill full of thorny weeds, we were bleeding all over but the float was fine. Part of our problem was that we did not read the directions on the anchor we got. We just threw it in and it didn’t do anything. Even after that horrible experience we plan to use it again, will read the anchor instructions, and maybe even tie it off to something on land with a long rope. Plan to definitely use it all summer. But definitely watch out for the wind! To blow it up we used a pump that plugged into my car. It worked but was a little difficult to get to all the places that need air due to the short cord on the pump. We had to keep moving it to fill each part but it worked okay. If you’ve ever put up a tent the sun shield should be no problem.

Great fun in the sun!
I absolutely love this. It’s easy to set up and it’s fun. Note that the attachments for the flexible canopy poles can be a little tricky. We lost an attachment when it popped out. However, a quick trip to an Ace Hardware store for a washer and a bolt (brought one of the other attachment screws for sizing) and we were up and running. I highly recommend a rechargeable air pump. One charge does the trick for this. If you let it dry and fold it carefully, you can get several uses out of it.

Can’t afford a yacht? Buy this instead.
We named it the Floatchilla, and decided that there would be semi-regular Floatchilla parties. It’s 9x13’ (3x4m); if you live in an apartment, it’s as big as your living room. It’s strong, too; even that net part in the bottom of the couch area that doesn’t look strong; it held two adults sitting down directly on the net, and it held when someone decided to swim underneath for a surprise shark attack, causing those on the net to flail in surprise. The Floatchilla held up to the abuse of an adult flopping around on it like a cross between a fish out of water and a sea lion, and it didn’t care when adults tried to climb over the couch side to board it, where it was clearly not meant to be boarded. The mighty Floatchilla just chilled and took all the abuse hurled at it. Even on a very windy day, with parasailers and hang gliders taking advantage overhead, that reportedly flimsy sunshade held up perfectly, and even functioned as a sail at times. You might be wondering if you need a Floatchilla in your life. Designed for six adults, we have seven crazy people on board, and it could probably manage ten. It’s easier to board than it looks, and has handholds on either side to assist, plus a ramp on one side. (But the truly determined will find that it is possible to bellyflop on board directly from the water.) It has six cup holders built into the sofa section, and a small built-in cooler. What’s the downside, you ask? The cooler’s not large enough to fill seven adults with food and drink for five hours, so you may find that you have to supplement. Also, you may never get all the air out afterwards, which makes putting it back in the original box challenging. The box itself is larger and heavier than you’re expecting.Tips? Get those really cheap Intex air pumps that everybody buys with it. I read reports that they were crap and ran trough batteries before filling half a mattress, but I had three and filled the Floatchilla within 15 minutes without anything overheating or breaking, and even after deflating, they still run on their first set of batteries. (Get those Amazon batteries, too; they’re cheap and good quality.) While you’re at it, get that small collapsible anchor that everyone gets, too. It held the Floatchilla and all its inhabitants even on a day with pretty decent waves. Don’t float out to sea and die a tourist’s death on the Floatchilla — chill responsibly with an anchor. We’ll probably invest in a big rolling plastic container from Home Depot for storage and transport in the future, just to make things easier. I bought this for my husband’s birthday, but my friends loved this so much that we’re planning to have many more Floatchilla parties, and you should, too.
