WAXAW waxed twine can be used for thousands of tasks around the house or at work, we keep finding new uses.....stator windings is not one we've yet considered or even imagined! The 100% polyester is not conductive, which is good for your purpose, but the wax does have a melting point, though we don't have a detailed spec to give you on that at the moment, though outside sources do indicate wax in general melts at 115-150F, so the level of heat would be a critical factor in your experiment. If you give it a try, let us know and thanks for the question!

Thank you for the great question! We have a lot of customers who use WAXAW waxed twine for bamboo lashing as it is very user friendly for this application. Makes it super easy to make a tightly wrapped and firm joint between bamboo cross pieces. Hopefully some of them will share their experiences here. Though we cannot give you a fixed answer, our twine is not only UV resistant as it is a synthetic polyester and also water resistant thanks to the the light wax coating. It should outperform and outlast any rope or twines that soak in moisture and/or include organic compounds, such as cotton.
