Ive seen some kits online showing a screw that sits completely flush with the shower screen, is this neccesary ? it was way more money...

no need to change the shower screen and screw if they are in good condition,if broken shower screen must be changed or dirty only wash, and if leak between the holder portafilter and the tower only change the gasket
