I like this bit like my other Whiteside bits
I like this bit like my other Whiteside bits. Woodworking is only my hobby so I can't attest to the longevity/durability of the bit. I have used this bit with a small trim router mounted on a table. I've checked the resulting cuts with my calipers and the bit cuts accurately and cleanly. The spiraling left clean surface edges and pushed the chips into the dado as I expected. I mostly made incremental passes at 1/8" depth but the few that I did at 1/4" depth looking just as clean but needed to go a little slower. I did notice that this bit was a tad bit harder to get into the collet of my router. When I checked the shaft, it appeared to be about .001 larger than the ones I compared it to. This seems to be within acceptable tolerance to me so I chocked it up to being new.

Clean cuts on plywood? Yes please!
Let’s get the obvious out of the way, all 1/8 in bits can break easily if we’re not careful the big difference is the cost. I broke 2 bits that were 2x the cost of this one and when I compare the quality I can’t justify the other brand. Check out the details on this .50” plywood from the box store then you be the judge.

Durability
Good bit. Don’t use it for what it’s not intended for. Constant hardwood use reduces sharpness quicker.

Works great cheap enough
I really like this brands bits and they do remarkably well for their price. They’re making their money worth on me since I’ve been breaking them so often due to some personal mistakes. Definitely going to buy them again great product

Whiteside bits are the best!
I have several Whiteside router bits and needed a 1/8" bit for some inlays. I read several reviews where people using other brands of bits had them break easily. This bit cut into walnut and birch with no problem. I think Whiteside bits are some of the best router bits you can buy.
