This is my husbands go to for all of our clogs in the house. It works in our kitchen sink when our drain and disposal would back up. It worked in our bathroom sink and down the shower drain. It does have a strong smell- so have a fan going while you’re doing it and afterwards for a bit. And don’t have kids around breathing it in.I think it’s a great price for the effectiveness it has

I tried everything to unclog my drain nothing worked. I was about to call a plumber to come out until someone recommended this to me. Why did you pick this product vs others?:It works quickly

If your sink is so clogged you can't run the water til it gets hot without running over, simmer some water on the range, wait for the sink to go down, and then try with the hot water. On my 2nd attempt, within 10 to 15 minutes the sink was cleared and draining perfect.

Our tub had constantly been backing up when we took a shower since we moved into our house. It would drain so slow, forget getting a shower right after another person, unless you wanted to stand in their dirty water. I tried DrainO, nope, didn’t work. So I looked for something stronger & stumbled upon Thrift! It arrived, I ran hot water down my drain, threw in some crystals, let them dissolve then added more hot water. Now at first, it was still draining fairly slow, but faster than it was originally. So I decided after reading another review to try to plunge the tub while the Thrift was in the drain & it worked! Our tub has been draining normally since. I’ve also used it in our bathroom sink & didn’t need to plunge it.

This is my fourth bottle. I will never waste time and money again on store bought drain cleaner. This takes 3 minutes total and the drain is completely cleared. I have bought for friends/family.
