We recently re-lined our fish pond and added an additional foot of depth. The 3" ABS pipe supplying rainwater would now be below the water line. This shouldn't have been a problem but it was because we were losing water through the old pipe (must be a crack or loose joint. After gluing this device in place, the pond is holding water at the overflow.

Perfect product to sewage back flow into lower structures or out buildings. We have an in-law unit down street of main house. The sewer line plugged up at the connection to the main sewer line.
