Nutri-Cal 4.25 Oz - High Calorie Supplement for Cats and Dogs

I bought this for my 20-year-old cat who has become very skinny, and it’s been a huge help. The nutrients and high calories give her the boost she needs, and it’s very effective at helping her maintain weight and energy. She actually enjoys the taste, which makes giving it so much easier. The tube is a good size and lasts a decent amount of time. It’s simple to use, either straight from the tube or mixed with food. For the quality and results, it’s great value for money. This has become a must-have in my cat’s daily routine.

Miracle supplement! I thought my dog would die, She had always been finiky, since a year ago I have been having to feed her because she wouldn't self feed, then last week she started refusing to eat. I force fed her and that worked a few days until she started spitting out the food I put in her mouth, then she stopped drinking water! I thought I would lose her. This product made her eat again! (I had taken her to the vet and all he said was she had digestive problems and for me to giver her oatmeal which I did) She licked the stuff i squirted from the tube slowly off a spoon and it seemed to make her a lil stronger in just a few hours, By the next day she was more lively and eagerly licked this off the spoon and told me she was HUNGREY! she does this by bringing me a treat she hid and that means she wants food (she's a super smart Chihuahua) This gave her her appetite back! second day she ate a little food and i didn't have to force feed her. I gave her one teaspoon the 1st night, 3 teaspoons the next day (one a half hour before each meal) and then I waited a half hour before i tried to give her any food. By the third morning she was no longer listless and she was running and jumping and looking for hidden treats to eat. She ate great! By the fourth day the sparkle is back in her eyes and she is acting like her old self again. I will always make sure I have a tube of this on hand. I changed her to an organic, grain free, high quality food. I also give her a half cup of cooked oatmeal per day to which i add diced apple and a squirt of organic honey. She has had chronic pancreatitus, I give her a digestive enzyme 5 min before meals too. Over time the pancreatitus damages the pancreas and makes it hard to digest food, eventually they get very little nutrients from food and waste away even though they are eating, then they lose interest in food which is what happened to her. This product is awesome and worked wonders! I highly reccomend it.

Got for my little chihuahua puppy! He actually enjoys the taste of it and I just give him a bit in the morning and when I get home late in the evening. Does not bother his stomach or anything! Seems to work well for him.

This has helped our 22 year old cat retain and gain weight. She could no longer digest dry food and could not eat enough wet food to sustain her. She lost a lot of weight and was losing hair. We've had lots of experience with tiny puppies. We just got 2 little yorkies. We always have a supply of Nutrical on hand. Our vet recommends this, and I'm sure it has saved us an emergency trip to the vets for hypoglycemia. These little guys would rather play than eat sometimes. It seems to be an appetite stimulant, although don't take my word for it. Aways in our pet cupboard.

Work wonders! My very very picky puppies started eating on their own after having this, they normally would eat only if hand fed. This is so good

We adopted an 8 year old Sphynx in poor health. He was thin , a fussy eater and had vomiting issues on and off since he was a kitten with no issues found . My vet wanted to start from the beginning so started with a deworming , not a great start. The medication made him worse and he lost a pound in a week and was eating very little and that was with constant encouragement. He dropped to a little over 5 lbs and was just skin over the bones . He had done this a few years back according to his vet papers. Tried this product at night , the next morning he was ravenous. He now wants to eat everything in site, and several times a day. He will steal the dogs food tries to steal ours , we can't keep him full. It won't be long before our boy gets some meat back on these bones .... Results were immediate, I was doubtful but I strongly recommend this if you have a pet who has a poor appetite.

Noticed a difference in my cat within the first week. Was giving her a small marble sized amount mixed in with a tiny bit of warm water to melt it, and then mixed into her wet food each meal, for about 3 or 4 days. We went to a family member's house and I forgot it, and within two days noticed that she was less interested in her food. Went home to get it and her appetite picked right back up. I truly believe this has been a contributing factor in her staying as alert and active as she has been, while she's been sick. She's an absolutely tiny little thing that cannot afford to lose any weight, so having this available has been great. Be forewarned though, open it with the lip end upwards as it comes out and it's sticky as honey and gets everywhere hahaha. I open it upwards, then tip it over her dish and use a toothpick to cut it off and then tip it back upright and re-cap it. Otherwise you get strings of it that fly around, like you would with honey.
