I carry this with me when ever I go in ...
I carry this with me when ever I go in the woods. It covers my wife and I when a light rain catches us.My only complain is the size of the original package. I have to use a gallon zip-lock bag to pack it away.

This is not realistically large enough for two men
Me and my younger brother (combined weight of about 340 lbs between both of us) were in a true emergency situation when we found ourselves stranded on the side of a mountain unable to find our tent in the darkness(this is in alaska in the chugach range in September). We did not have another shelter,our rain gear, or our sleeping bags, or mattresses. We had no choice but to lay on top of our backpacks to stay off the ground in a small hole that left us with a fair amount of exposure. We put on everything we could wear and snuggled up under this blanket that we figured would cover us both in a pinch. Unfortunately, we had never opened the product prior to the situation we were in(which despite the packing being more convenient that way definitely don’t do that), and were bummed that the blanket doesn’t actually cover two people very well. It definitely doesn’t allow two adult men, even spooning, to seal in the heat properly. I can vouch for this product and say that it made a.noticable difference in warmth in near freezing temperatures, but only if you can manage to tuck it in. I had to give up trying to tuck it in under us and eventually gave the whole blanket to my brother so he could be warmer. I like this product as it is actually a very reasonable size for one adult man, but that is what it really is. If you are buying this product for two, buy two. It is still a fantastic piece of gear, but it is just a hair small for two people unless perhaps both people are under 140 lbs. I actually recommend the 8 oz bivy offered by the same company as the better option for a one person emergency shelter: it seals in much more heat and is likely to keep you relatively dry if used properly. This kind of gear is not something to skimp out on. Me and my brother are lucky the weather was good that night and had there been a storm I am not sure if the outcome would be the same.
