My mom, who had beautiful skin all her life, used Pond's Cold Cream every day. After spending a great deal on expensive cleansers over the years, I decided to give this classic, and inexpensive, makeup remover a try. I used it for the first time last night, and it left my skin squeaky skin yet hydrated - even plumper! I simply massaged it into my skin then wiped it off with a clean washcloth. Usually, I follow cleanser with a toner to make sure every speck of makeup is gone. After using Pond's, I used some toner on a cotton ball and it came away completely clean, yet my face didn't feel dry. I think another plus is that it is oil-based. I live in Arizona, and my older skin can easily get dehydrated. I swear my skin, after just one use, already looks more moisturized and supple. So all these years I've been using "fancy" cleansers when this was available all along. I love finding cost-effective and simple skin care options!

This is the best ever for removing mascara and makeup. I dip a cotton ball lightly in the cream and it makes my entire face feel clean. I use a separate cotton ball for each eye (I wear eyeliner and mascara) dipped lightly in this cream and it completely removes stubborn mascara. This Ponds cream is velvety and gentle on face. I use fragrant free and have had no irritation at all.

Takes your makeup off, so easily. Your skin feels very soft after you use it.

There is no doubt that this works. It takes every bit of makeup off, the only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the unscented version actually smells terrible. It’s like a combination of wood smoke and tar. I hate it. The good news is this little pot will last forever, the bad news is…this little stink pot will last forever. Ugh.

Wonderful as expected

My mom used this on me when I was little, and I recently came back to it — it’s still the best. Pond’s Cold Cream cleans, moisturizes, and is so gentle on my skin. It actually lifts dirt and dead skin (even behind my ears and on my neck), and I love the thick, creamy texture. My skin feels soft, hydrated, and truly clean every time. Affordable, long-lasting, and unbeatable.
