Unique and good looking watch, keeps good time.
I don't like big watches, and even though pictures make this both wear large and wear thick, it's really neither in real life.Pros:- Unique.- Looks cool: retro-ish, can cross formal and casual lines.- Power reserve feature is super-useful.- Love the whole typeface and general aesthetics.- Keeps excellent time (so far). Only slow 2-3 seconds daily.- Love the display back.- I actually like the Miyota movement's free-spinning rotor, including its noise. Spinning the rotor is a fun thing to do on the watch. Other (e.g.: ETA) movements have dampers that prevent the rotor from spinning much, which keeps rotor noise down.Cons:- Can be difficult to read, depending on the hand positions. Specifically, the second hand is not differentiated well from the minute hand, you have to pause a few to observe movement to differentiate.- No luminous paint, can't use in the dark.- 24-hour dial is useless (but attractively rendered)- Date window cutout is WAY too small, clipped too close to font, and difficult to read.- I generally don't care for the weird effect of the oddly shaped "crystal", I'd wish it'd have been dome shaped.- I also wish the "crystal" were sapphire instead of plastic :/- Some people (not me!) don't like the rotor movement/noise on this.- Rotor is shamefully plain and unfinished. Kind of loss some potential on the display back with this.Overall impression is that it's one of my favorite watches.

CAREFUL
This appears to be a fine watch, but buyer beware the specs sheet on top lists this watch as having a Swiss-made automatic movement, when in fact below that in the product description it gets things right and points out that it is a Citizen (Japanese Miyota) movement. THIS is a decent movement with a good track record, but it is also a much cheaper component and some people like to know what is spinning inside.

Classy Watch
Overall this is a great watch. The classic instrument-style design is what initially drew me to this piece. The watch is easy to read and clearly built to a high level of quality. The case, bezel and crown are all great - no complaints there. The crystal in this case is not Sapphire or crystal, instead it's an embossed plastic. Initially I wasn't sure if I was a fan but it has definitely grown on me. My only negative comment would be regarding durability. The plastic face is prone to scratches, the movement is somewhat noisy and overall I do worry that it is somewhat fragile. It is definitely more of a dress watch so shouldn't see any vigorous activity at the office or out to dinner. Overall a great watch with great styling. I'd see it more appropriately priced around $450 but no regrets. Glad I purchased.

One Star
Beautiful watch but the rotor is really noisy and unbearable.

Classic looking, quality watch
This watch is a must have for every watch collector. The first thing you notice is that unique watch face. The cream color has a nice classic look , the 24 hour dial has a nice white pearl effect which all looks great under the domed hesalite. The addition of the power reserve complication is quite useful, and practical. The rear of the watch has a nice simple exhibition rear. The movement is not decorated, but still looks nice. I do enjoy the soft leather band, my only complaint is that the holes do not quite make the fit optimal on my wrist. I can make it too tight, and borderline too lose. The spacing is decent, I just think the offset is not optimized for me.

Fantasic Watch!
Recently received this as a gift and I couldn't be happier! ( I did my research before making the suggestion ) The hesalite crystal as most reviews stated that is soft and is more prone to scratches, knowing that I purchased some polish to keep it crystal clear. The movement is precise and the quality is top notch!

Definitely recommend this watch
Overall, this is a great watch. I've worn it daily now for about six months. The dial is clear and easy to read and I've had no problems with it standing up to daily wear. With that use, I've had no need to wind it, but like all self-winding watches you may need to if you keep it in a drawer for extended periods.I would have given the watch five stars, but mine seems to gain some time. I haven't researched whether it can be regulated. So I guess the time gain hasn't bothered me enough to be a problem.Esthetics are personal, but I think it looks great, and the case and band seem well made and study.

Looks great and worth the price
Really nice watch that looks much more expensive than it really is. If winding by hand, it does make a grinding sound of the gears. But that's just inherent on the internal movement they use and doesn't mean anything is actually malfunctioning.
