I love this chili powder. It has just the right amount of heat and extra spices to really boost the flavor of chili. It also makes a wonderful roux for tex-mex enchiladas. We use a LOT of it in our home and I order the large size every year. The taste is so unique, that nothing else compares. It's been around for years, and I sure do hope it's around for a lot longer.

This chili powder is, by far, the best I have had. The aroma is strong, and the flavor is great. I use it to make chili, tacos, enchiladas, salads, and anything else that needs a spicy kick. It is not very spicy, but it is very flavorful.I buy it in this huge size, and it tastes as good at the end of the jar as it did when I first open it. If you are looking for good chili flavoring, this mix is definitely the one. It is dark and rich and delicious.I won’t use anything else.

I was delighted with my order. The grocery stores in my area no longer carry it. I went to the last store yesterday to stock up and found out they don't stock it anymore. So I went shopping on Amazon & ordered the large size, and was I surprised by the size of it!!!My grandmother used it (she died in 1926), my mother used it all her life (she died in 1998). Everyone loved her chili, she called it her secret ingredient. I have used it for the past 55 years! There is no substitute for it!!! If you haven't tried it, you need to. It will become your secret ingredient also. Thanks Mexene for making a product that has been passed down in my family for over 100 years!

Love this great big tub of Mexene chili powder! I won’t be running out anytime soon! And next time I go to make enchiladas my hubby won’t say they taste gross! Because his Grammy used to use the Mexene chili powder seasoning on every dish. And the whole family uses it. However they don’t sell it locally anymore. And I run out of it all the time! Taste great! Good price for 38 pounces! Fresh and easy to use! Color and heat are perfect!

If you can handle medium heat, this is the best chili seasoning out there. Some others have too much cumin in them. This one is balanced better.

Best chili powder that can be obtained. Dark and rich flavor. I use on many dishes not just for chili.

This is exponentially cheaper than buying the 2oz containers from the grocery store. We use to make BBQ sauce.
