So far so good...only time will tell. Its only been installed 2 days. I didn't see any dead pixels in the random sample I did with a 30x loupe. I didn't give 5 stars because nothing is ever perfect plus I would have liked it to have been back-lit a little brighter. That is not the sellers fault though; it's an engineering / manufacturing issue.

This screen is just as nice as the original. My mom was so happy that she didn’t have to buy a new laptop and that I could fix her screen. She was quoted $225 cnd to replace the screen, at that price purchasing a new laptop is almost a better idea. It’s quite easy to replace. Just google it and there are many step-by-step how-to instructions.

I ordered the part based on the part number found on the original & had a question when the part arrived since it did not match. Called the number, left a message and they called back within an hour with an answer that the last two digits were different since the new part was manufactured this year. The original was made the previous year. I installed it and it works perfectly. Great CUSTOMER service!!!!

Nice screen; colors are good. No problems.Easy to install (but need small screw drivers); there is a video in Youtube that helped me understand what to expect. I stripped some of the screws in my laptop but forced them out with a sharp flat screwdriver. Still much cheaper than buying a new laptop and saved me the time to transfer all my programs. I own a HP ProBook 4720s.

Im an IT professional, and ordered this for a clients laptop. The shipping was fast, the product came in undamaged.After install the screen worked for about a month. It started making horizontal black static lines and flickering. I made sure the drivers were up to date, and even displayed out to another screen. The problem was isolated to this lcd.I contacted them twice via their website and NEVER got a response. As you can imagine, I do quite a bit of repair work to laptops, and will not use this company again.

The carrier broke the lcd but they shipped a new one quickly. Other than the difficulty's dealing with the post office, they met there expectations and the second screen worked great!

Easily installed and saved old Gateway Laptop when I was told to just buy a new one. Shipping and packaging was great and received intact.
