I was having a hard time finding a hat that I could wear out in the sun while I work that would fit my big head and accommodate my hair being pulled up into a ponytail. This is a perfect solution. It fits well, and keeps the sun out of my eyes. Not a fan of the bow embellishment, so I might end up taking that off, but I love the color and glad I happened to run across this product listing while shopping.

For the pros: It’s exactly as pictured, the wide design covers my entire face, neck, & a little of my chest even in shade. It’s adorable with the little bow in the back & I got several compliments the first time I wore it. It’s not uncomfortable by any means & did what I wanted it to do.For the cons: the size of this hat is a little confusing to me when I try to figure out who was intended to wear it. The bow in the back comes apart by a velcro strap. I have to overlap the bow as far as I can without it popping back off, & only have a portion of the velcro actually attached in order to make it tight enough around my head to wear it. & even then, it’s still very loose feeling. I was a c-sectioned baby which means I have a slightly larger head than most people & was shocked that this hat was too big for me. The sides of the hat are a little too long as well. The edges of the hat will hit & bump your shoulders as you move around. It isn’t terrible, it’s just a tad annoying. I feel like if I could make the hat tighter, & have it sit higher up on my head, I wouldn’t have the shoulder issue.I plan to either alter it with a longer velcro strap to be able to tighten it as much as needed, or just pop a safety pin into it at the desired tightness & leave it at that. For the price, you can’t beat it & it defintely saved my face a lot of sun damage while working on my greenhouse.

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this hat. It has been a staple in my wardrobe for years now. I travel A LOT and am quite active outdoors (swimming, hiking, camping, exploring cities)- I wear this everywhere. Love that it rolls up and can be kept in my purse or backpack. Regular sun hats are great too but they get so bent in my luggage and are a pain to carry around. Not this one. Get a lot of compliments on it. Seems to offer good sun protection, I don’t even use sunscreen. Love that I can wear my hair up in a bun with it on too. 10/10

Love this hat, it has become my daily goto. Avid gardener here, the brim width is perfect for keeping the sun off my face. I get lots of compliments on the hat as well. My only negative (and it is minimal) is the tag is a bit annoying, finally cut it off to keep from having to tuck it under the hatband when wearing the hat.

I ordered the tan one but I got the dark brown. Since my trip is a week away I can't send back. It will work out though. I like that it has an adjustable string to keep from falling off. Fits snugly but my head is big too😂
