Fixed my issue on a 2008 2.5L VW Beetle
My VW Beetle had the check-engine light on, EPC Light, and Traction Control off due to a P1022 Code (Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor A, Low Voltage Input). Since the throttle position sensor is built with the throttle body assembly, the whole throttle body had to be replaced. Instead of spending $200+ at a local auto shop or $500 for OEM, this one fits perfectly and performs like OEM.Swapping the throttle body was easy and only took 30 minutes or less. I had to remove a section of the air hoses, unplug connector, and 4x bolts holding the throttle body. After installing the new throttle body, be sure to adapt the new throttle body by 'learning' the new one. via VW OBD readers. This part resolved my check engine light issues along with removing the EPC light and Traction Control Fault.

2013 2.5SE perfect and easy, error codes gone!
Had EPC and CEL light come on. Car went limp mode. OBD2 code ran P0211 which turns out to be common on various VW models. After reading a few forums and internet postings, first tried to do a cleaning of the TB and surrounding areas, checked sensors, etc but code would return. Purchased this TB and install took 15 minutes. Codes are gone after a few start ups and idling. Drives perfectly again. 200k miles. Happy customer.

Worked perfectly....
For a very inexpensive part, it worked out of the box and didn’t require calibration either. It got rid of my codes and all is well without having to purchase the $500 oem TBInstalled in 15 min, reusing old gasket that was still perfect.

Works well, easy to install, easy on the wallet
I was surprised at how inexpensive this part was, I compared it extensively against my failed throttle body and the differences were miniscule, it was easy enough to replace. To make the install even easier I disconnected the battery and once i was done I just reconnected the battery and I reset the check engine light, sure enough everything works well and the car runs smoothly. I will update this review if anything were to go awry.

No Gasket and beware of learning cycle
I was surprised this didn't come with a gasket and I spent time trying to find one. It turns out the old one, after 155k miles was still good and a new one wasn't needed.Car: 2013 VW Jetta SE, 2.5L L5 cylinder.Symptoms:Shifting had been rough for sometime. Then car started running rough and transmission started shifting hard and check engine light stayed on. Then it went into limp mode, 15 mph AutoZone read OBD codes PO122 and PO638. First I replaced the accelerator pedal assembly, but same symptoms. Then noticed the code print out said Master Techs said the most likely solution was to replace the throttle body.Replacement: The replacement was fairly straight forward. The hardest part was getting the air duct tube reconnected to the engine cover. Removing engine cover, air ducts and air duct attachment in the front was needed to give working room. Got by with large adjustable pliers for clamps, large screwdriver for plying, Torx screw drivers and sockets and 1/4 inch drive. Self tapping screws hold the throttle body to the plastic manifold input so no high torque items. The fuel line connection used a pinch clamp, hard to remove and not reusable, so I had to replace with 5/8" hose clamp I happen to have, luckily. The OEM and other brands were $350 to $650, which I couldn't afford. I saw this aftermarket unit at a fraction of the price, so I was skeptical, but it had only 4 and 5 star reviews, so I gambled on it. As I said, the fit seems near perfect. I don't need it to last another 150K miles. I will update with long term results after more use. Results: After installation and reassembly I reconnected the battery and started the car. The check engine and ECP lights were off, but the idle was very unstable. I had no scanner to erase codes. I disconnected battery and waited 15 minutes, reconnected and restarted. It was still unstable, but a little better and smoothed some in gear. I drove around the block and it got better, but still shifting wasn't normal. I took a longer drive up to higher speeds and the idle was smooth at a normal 650 rpm. Another drive, and the shifting, which had seemed like a malfunction transmission, now seemed almost normal and the engine seemed to run and idle as smooth as it did thousands of miles ago. So relearning seems to be automatic, with a battery disconnect and several driving cycles. It appears to be a perfect replacement at this point. Will update if anything goes wrong.Highly recommended on fit, function, and especially price!

Perfect fit. Plug and play.
I had a p0122 code on my Jetta. I replaced the throttle body/tps and threw in a new map sensor while I had it apart. So far so good. I had read that there may be a calibration process when replacing this part but it was plug and play for me thankfully. The part stores want like $400 for this part, time will tell if the $60 Chinese version will hold up.
