Very Impressed ... Given My Particular Use Case
I knew these were cheap when I bought them. I even told my fiance, "these are both the cheapest bookshelves I've ever bought AND the cheapest bookshelves I've ever bought" (referring to both the price and the general quality - particle wood and plastic. But they were THE PERFECT SIZE for a spot that I wanted to add a bookshelf so I bought 2 of them and hoped for the best. A day later I ordered 4 more (!!!). Yes, they're cheap. But they actually look pretty good when they're assembled and if you're not putting priceless antiques on them, which I'm not, they work quite fine and hold up to some pretty decent weight (i.e. books, a few reams of printer paper, etc.). I honestly expected to be returning these when I bought them, would NEVER have expected to essentially triple my order, and would have called anyone a liar if they said I'd be leaving a 5-star review. Go figure. I'm very impressed.

Space saver
Excellent for the price. Not as sturdy as a wood table but does amazingly the job.I needed to declutter my kitchen counter and I've found this. 🙏🏾I just displayed 3 tiers because it was too high for my kitchen and I used the 4th under my sink cabinet. On the top shelf is the microwave. On the second is my mini oven and on the bottom shelf is the rice cooker and things I put here and there. The bottom shelf is definitely the sturdiest. So happy with my purchase.I recommend this.

Perfect for shoes!!
*****************************************************UPDATE: Best for shoes!! I bought a second shelving unit to make room for additional pairs of shoes. This has helped so much since my room is small and I don’t like keeping shoes on the floor. I’m able to fit approx 16-18 pairs side by side per shelving unit but that’s because I have tall heels and don’t want to stack any shoes on each other. If you need to cram more you definitely have the space on these. This shelving option is preferable over trying to put together one of those plastic cube organizers that can easily fall apart. This took me 10 min to assemble and they are stable and resilient enough to slide around the room if you need to move it.*******************************************************I'll start by saying I specifically bought this to use as a shoe rack and I'm very pleased! After wasting a lot of time browsing available shoe racks on Amazon, I realized they all either looked cheap, didn't have enough support for the shoes to sit on, or didn't have enough room to fit the shoes without looking squished or having to cram.So then I looked for any simple shelving unit I could use. Found this and could tell it would be perfect for all my heels. I was able to fit 19 pairs comfortably. They are not crammed and they are not piled on top each other. Though this could easily be used for sneakers or other styles and you could use more of the space probably. This works best for me and my heels. And the nice part is even though it was inexpensive it doesn't look tacky. Fits in with my room furniture.

Dangerous, cheap garbage
Update February 2021: 8 months after purchase, with about5 pounds on the shelf, it totally randomly came apart, shearing off each plastic leg entirely. See picture. This shelf went together very easily and was surprisingly sturdy. It doesn't look like plastic either. I loved it. It's just been sitting there with my decorations on it. I've dusted it twice. Today, I went to dust it again, and found it wobbly. Odd given no one has even been near it. Upon investigation, I discovered that two legs between the top and second shelf completely, and cleanly, sheared off where the shelf meets the two pieces. Just snapped off. Amazon is a nightmare right now for shipping and returns, so, I contacted the company for support. The email links don't work, all three. You have to paste it in your email. I'm not expecting much. If the company helps me out, and it actually doesn't just break again, I'll let you know.Update: after two weeks, the company hasn't responded to either of my emails. Returning it. Don't deal with this company as the product is shoddy and there is zero customer service and support.

SUPER EASY ASSEMBLY EVEN FOR1 HANDED DISABLED PERSON!!!
WAS LOOKING FOR NICE LOOKING EASY TO ASSEMBLE SHELVING UNIT TO HOLD FIRE SCANNER ECHO SHOW AND OTHER ITEMS. THIS UNIT (5 TIER) LOOKS GREAT AND WAS VERY EASY TO ASSEMBLE EVENTHOUGH I HAD A STROKE AND BASICALLY ONLY HAVE ONE HAND. SEEMS STURDY ENOUGH THAT I TRUST IT TO HOLD ALL MY VALUABLE ELECTRONICS AND CERTIFICATES. WAS HOPING FOR A LITTLE BIT WIDER LIKE 3 FOOT BUT THIS IS WORKING OUT GREAT. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR LOOKS AND EASE OF ASSEMBLY.

very sturdy for a low budget item. adjustible 'hack' options in picture
Cheap, doesn't wobble as much as I feared it would, very sturdy for a low budget item. I like the fact it would or will be easy to take down if needed and store out of the way. Little needs of the manual. here are some pictures I made because I wanted one unit small and one unit bigger. so I put beside the 2 tier one next to the 3 tier and 4 tier and even along side of furinno's other shelf unit (2 tier). (objects might help you understand size in photos.

I love the size of it
I love the size of it! It's not too big but not too small! It doesn't take up a lot of space so it's perfect for small rooms like in apartments or townhouses. It fits a lot of stuff on it and it's sturdy for the price! The shelves are sturdy enough that I was able to stack a bunch of books on it as well as two laptops on another shelf. It was not difficult to assemble and I love the color!

Aesthetically pleasing affordable shelving
My general statement is that I LOVE this shelf! We had a similar shelf from another manufacturer but needed a shelf with these dimensions. I was a little bummed with the quality and look of the poles. They are thicker than I expected, cutting into shelf space. We bought it for board games but can’t put a Monopoly game, for example on the shelf. We have to turn it so it sticks out. It still holds a lot though and is so ridiculously easy to put together!!! The shelves look good enough. I ended up buying another in a different color for my office. You really can’t beat this price point for a shelf that is decorative looking. I’d buy many many more of these shelves (in various size combos) given the need. They would be perfect for a dorm room, craft room, office, basement, or family room.

Super cheap in every sense
They say 'you get what you pay for'. This is a fine example of that.At first I was suprised at just how light the packaging was for a four shelve unit. When I opened it up I soon realised why. The 'wood' shelves are flimsy and thin and the poles are of the cheapest lightest plastic imaginable. The assembly was straightforward but needed some strength to make the poles join together in a suitable manner. One pole needed considerable force to fit into place. I quickly discovered while doing the assembly just how flimsy this shelving was going to be.This things wobbles and I mean wobbles!! Despite my efforts to keep the joins as tights as possible it didn't stop the thing moving around like the top passenger deck on a north sea ferry in a force eight gale. The slightest touch and prey your objects manage to stay in place and don't fall to the floor - like the lamp I had put on top temporarily (fortunately the carpet stopped any damage) .As for finish. The plastic poles feel very cheap - there is no attempt to make these feel anything other than the cheap plastic they are - there are noticible seems running up the full length of the sides of each of them. The 'wood' shelves are very poorly venered with overlapping joins on the side and very rough corners round most of the circumference and the surfaces have bad marks from poor finishing and handling - one of the holes for a pole had a bad tear around it.So this is CHEAP. In every sense this is CHEAP! But I bought it very cheaply so I shoul'd have expected that so I can't really complain. Hence 3 stars. If It had been £10 more than the £31 I paid it would have been 1 star.

you get what you pay for
Like others have said the plastic supports and chipboard shelves make the unit light and not particularly sturdy, I was expecting better for around £30. But it does provide a solution to add storage in a cupboard, which is what I needed. If you are putting this in the kitchen/lounge etc and people are going to see the shelves, I'd spend extra money on a better set personally.Assembly is what you'd expect, but some of the tubes didn't thread properly and required force. If I'd known the quality before purchasing I wouldn't have paid more than £20

It's worth the decor, but not the materials
You wouldn't say it's all plastic and half of the shelf looks more like cardboard than wood.Assembly has been as easy as playing LEGO and so similar to it, to be honest. If I had known the structure was not metal, regardless of the nice result, I'm not sure I would have paid as much as I did for it.It's worth the decor, but not the materials.I keep it 'cause it perfectly matches my oak and metal desk... if you don't focus on details.

Relatively cheap and doesn't hide it
I bought this as a relatively inexpensive and easy-to-assemble product. Sometimes products find clever ways to disguise that they are 'cheap', which is for example something that some IKEA items can be good at. Unfortunately, that is not the case here, and I got what I paid for. The plastic columns of the bookshelf have been manufactured in such a way that they have a very visible 'seam' and the assembled bookshelf wobbles much much too easily - I would absolutely not trust it with items that are fragile or that are balanced for example. These two flaws could have been easily avoided with a bit of thought going into the development of the product but that is not the case here.

As described but some flaws when assembled
It might be due to the carpet in the room but it does have a bit of a wobble when built up. Havnt tried it on another flooring type to say for definite so thats something to think about if used around small children, especially since there wasn't anything to tie it to a wall for security. Easy to assemble and instructions not needed but included. It's a nice height and can hold alot which helps with the sturdiness but when building it up I noticed one shelf had some paint chipped slightly (2nd photo, lighting is terrible but the pink chipped off to show white underneath) and another shelf had a chip in one corner and a small defect in the pink layer on the other corner (3rd and 4th pic). That shelf was put on the top and faced the wall so not too noticeable but not what you expect for the price paid. Wouldn't say its value for money because of the defects which alot of comments mention and not worth the price overall but is a nice addition to the room.
