Lamy Z28 Converter for fountain pen models Abc, AL-star, joy, Lx, nexx, nexx M, safari, vista

I just got my first Lamy fountain pen, and I was looking for a converter. I'm really happy with the quality of this converter, because I love vacuum-filling and this works like a gem.

My Safari is one of my favorite pens despite being on the cheaper side. I don't mind changing cartridges but it was a glaring difference from my more expensive fountain pens. This solved it at a reasonable price and hasn't failed yet. IDK if it's a testament to the Lamy Safari and its value or this converter specifically, but I have less issues with ink drying up and/or just not flowing when I'm trying to use the pen after a week. I'm liking my Safari with this converter more than a couple of my Waterman's right now for the hassle-free use it's giving me. It's a worthwhile upgrade if you use your Safari often and want to switch to bottled ink for sure.

Fast delivery and in good conditions. It’s easy to set up and works as it should. I used it right away. Only complain is that was sent in a tiny plastic bag (not in the box it should) inside another huge plastic bag, I almost thought it was empty.

Came in perfect condition, never used a converter and was super easy to put in and learn to fill my Lamy safari pen, wish they had a gray converter option not just the reddish pink but only an aesthetic thing. I recommend.

Compared to the other converters I have, this has by far the best ink capacity I've ever used. It feels like it lasts twice as long as a Pilot CON-40, and it almost always gets a full fill. It's very easy to take apart to clean as well, probably the best I've ever seen in that regard. Now as for the cons. Mine arrived with a semi-stiff piston, not unusable by any means but a bit annoying. It became much easier after adding a bit of silicone grease, though, so it's fixable. Also, its the only converter I've had so far where water and ink have gotten stuck behind the piston. Although, again, this isn't a huge issue because it's so easy to disassemble and clean. Overall, it's probably my favorite converter that I've used so far. It works great and all problems I have with it are countered by how easy it is to disassemble it and fix them. Good job, Lamy.

Easy to refill with a syringe.

Easy to fill. Ink flow is smooth and it’s going to save me some money on disposable reservoirs. 100% would recommend.

Wenn man Patronen einige Male befüllt hat (Converter in den Füller stecken, dann Feder in die Tinte halten und "Rad" hochdrehen), gehts auch relativ leicht. An sich auch sehr simpel. Kleckert auch nicht und hat bisher schon viele viele Füllungen geschafft. Ich hatte mich immer gefragt wofür man 10er Packs kaufen kann, ich benötige sie im Nachhinein auch erstmal nicht. Man kann die patrone nicht befüllt mitnehmen, daher ist es unsinnig mehrere Converter zu besitzen (außer einem Möglichem Ersatzprodukt). Blöd ist nur, das öfter Mal Luft mit rein geht und dadurch der Converter nicht ganz befüllt ist. Dies hängt m.M. jedoch nicht mit explizit diesem Produkt zusammen. Man kann sie schlecht wieder raus drücken und dafür nur das kleine Stück Tinte wieder rein, nur mit großem Friemeln, da befülle ich jedoch lieber die ganze Patrone neu! Sternabzug also nicht für dieses Produkt, sondern Converter insgesamt. Ich würde sie letztendlich wieder kaufen und auch weiter Empfehlen!
