I didn't realize there were so many different 18v Black and Decker tools. The batteries work better than I thought because of the extra prong on the battery. It last as long or even longer than the original. The price was also a good deal.

I paid fifty bucks for one of these in 2014.
We have a small chain saw that uses this battery. it is great for pruning and small bushes. The battery lasts about thirty minutes. Then charging takes a few hours. Two for the price of one seemed great. I charged both when they came in. Looks great, so far. For users, It is necessary to keep the batteries charged. do not let the them lay around low. RobertCMize

Great product!
While looking for replacement batteries for our Black and Decker yard tools (first ones using batteries), we were shocked to learn the short lifespan. Somehow, our original battery lasted 6yrs, which we now know is not the norm. This battery charged fast and lasted at least 1hr between the hedge clippers and weed whacker. We have a large yard (of the 3 acres, we mow/groom 3/4 of an acre), lots of beds/bushes/ornamental trees. Plus we butt up to woods and wetlands...lots of maintenance overall! It is a tight fit to get it in, but well worth the money. It is stronger than the original that came with the tools. We can't rate longevity, as we just got them, but for the other categories a definite 5 stars!

Holds Charge
The older batteries would not hold charge. These hold up well!

These charge quickly and hold the charge for a long time. Work pretty good. Do what they are supposed to do. I only wish they would hold a charge longer.
