While the outside appearance of the bottles looks the same as product purchased from a salon, the "gel" in the bottle is clearly not the same. I've not purchased many beauty products from amazon and tried this only because the Curl Fever product has been discontinued by Kerastase. I was hopeful this seller happened to have some left from when Curl Fever was in production so tried it. There is a layer of an oily appearing substance at the top of the bottle and there's a very thick lighter colored substance at the bottom. The two layers don't seem to mix well. Also, the original product is very thick and when I turn the bottle upside down I can't see through it. When I tried with this product I could see through it. In the attached photos, when there are two bottles my salon product is on the right. Please note this review is for product shipped by Perfume WorldWide, Inc. The actual Kerastase Curl Fever is one of the best products I've ever used on my curly hair.

If you have curly hair, this is a perfect product! It restores the bounce and soft curls, doesn't feel crunch, combs through easily, doesn't smell weird and lasts almost all day. It doesn't hold like hair spray, but simply helps curl hold up in heat and humidity.

The best hair product for thick curly hair ever!!! I swear by this stuff and use it almost daily. Doesn’t make hair crunchy but leaves curls tightly defined and soft. You can even sleep on it and it still looks good the next day. Smells great too.

it makes my curls shiny and bouncy... keeps them in place all day long!!! its just a little bit "crunchier" than I was looking for but its an excellent product!!!

Amazing product! I have wavy hair, and all I have to do after getting out of the shower is put one pump (maybe the size of a dime) in my palm and then scrunch my hair. Then I have beach waves!

Good product for curly hair. Only a small quantity of product is necessary so it last for 2 months (using it every 2 days). Once we know the quantity of product we need, the hair get curly and bright and it doesn't stick. Spread it on the whole hair.

L'Oréal has purchased this product and as I understand it is no longer carrying it.After 15 years of searching for the best curl products this product is the best I've found.I'm disappointed in L'Oréal.

I tried many many products for curly hair, something to keep my curls bouncy and frizz-free. This is the best so far!I apply it on wet hair before using hairdrier, putting my head down (as I have long hair) and without touching the curls while the hairdryer is doing its job. This gel is not sticky, doesn't leave the hair dull or heavy and once hair is dry the shape last for a few days without need to add more of this product on it... I always buy more than 1 bottle every time as I fear to run out of it!

Perfect styling for my naturally curly hair, which gets a bit frizzy if not treated with this great product.

Ich hatte das Curl Fever Gel länger im Blick. Ich hab ein Produkt gesucht das ich als zusätzliches Produkt zu meinem Shea Moisture Curl Smoothie benutzen kann und das mehr Halt und noch mehr Definition bietet und das über eine längere Zeit.Ich habe eine ziemlich raue dicke Haarstruktur und 2c Locken.Feststellen konnte ich bislang einen weniger starken Halt als wie bei Lockenmousse, nach einem Tag hängt es sich besonders am Ansatz ziemlich durch und die Definition geht verloren. Außerdem werden die Haare auch ziemlich hart wie bei Haargel, (anders als manche behaupten) man muss sie also ordentlich kneten oder gleich föhnen. Beim Föhnen erreicht man zunächst ziemlich viel Volumen. Riechen tut das Ganze gut, wie ein Frisörprodukt, aber es verfliegt schnell. Vielleicht lässt sich die Haltbarkeit der Locken und die Definition am Oberkopf durch Kombination mehrerer Produkte steigern.
