I work rotating shifts, so when I work nights, sleeping during the day is crucial. I purchased the roll of 17.5”x118.1” blackout film. I have one window in my room, each window pane of glass measures approximately 38 7/8” high and 25 1/2” wide. Being that the roll was only 17.5” wide, I had to cut a strip and meet them up to complete the window. I think I did a pretty good job putting it up by myself. The one roll was perfect for the glass it had to cover. Barely any leftover.From the outside, my window looks like it’s a tinted window. The inside really does a great job blocking the sun. I didn’t get it perfect, but it’s darn close. Once the blinds are closed, it’s very dark. I also noticed that my room was staying cooler, which is an added bonus.Peeling the backing off was fine once I got it started. I may have cursed under my breath a few times trying to get it started. Lots of static cling when peeling it off. No worries, if it touched itself, not a big deal. Really spray water on the window. It helps a lot. Two people would have probably been better, but one can get ‘er done. I used an old gift card to get the air bubbles/water out. I’m very glad I put this up and because I’m in an apartment, I have no fear of this being a problem to remove and dispose of.

Great quality and I love the rainbow effect it gives off when sunny. I didn't have too much of a problem cutting it to the size of the window. I'd just suggest going slow. Also make sure you check that it is not upside down. I made that mistake but it was easy to take off and then put on the correct way. I got compliments on how nice it looked.

I ordered this for my first floor bathroom window.. it was very easy to put up and has been in place with no issues at all.. it’s beautiful and is transparent enough to let the sunshine in but you cannot see thru it so it’s great for creating privacy .. would definately recommend 😊

the film is working as described that reflect most of heat and light in day time. I can feel the film is getting hot when there is a lot of sunlight outside, so I still close curtains to isolate the heat. but I don't need a blackout curtains anymore. and the room feels pretty cool with this film. one thing to mention is the back side is pretty hard to peel off even with the tape provided by the manufacturer. need to be patiently rubbing the corner to get them separated.

For such a cheap price, I'm so surprised this was so easy to put up and something I would buy again. It's a classic for my windows, in all honesty, the perfect rainbow light rays in my room, making me want it more. Genuinely, if you're thinking about buying it, do it. The cling stick adhesion is not hard, just be smart about how you're cutting it to fit so it doesn't look stupid lol.

Very easy to install and looks beautiful on the window! Will be buying more for the other windows above the doors.

This type of their window cling is NOT like the nicer thick, easy to reuse cling. THIS IS VERY THIN, MORE OF A FILM. It has a sticky film to help hold it in place but getting it perfect can cause crinkling if you have to peel and re-stick. You will also have crinkling (That does not come out like the softer thicker "Cling" films) if you are trying to cover a large area as the film is so thin holding it up causes it to crinkle. I was able to get it on the window and the view is pretty clear so it is nice for that reason. Would I attempt to reuse this, NO. My reason for ordering this was to use during the summer months to cool down my room, the thicker soft window cling can be used over and over and rolled up after removal and stored. there is no way you could do that with this type. So if you plan to put it up and NEVER plan to reuse from year to year find something else or plan to repurchase every year.
