Got this product because I saw some girl I was working with at the Grammys wearing this and she was bone dry she even told me she knelt on the wet floor and her knees were still dry so I picked one up real quick and I definitely recommend this to anybody who works outdoors in heavy rain it'll keep you dry except your face lol

I bought a rain shell set purely on reputation. Good price, features I wanted. On approval from Amazon.What came in the mail was this set of jacket and pants that resembled…paper? It reminded me of those things you buy when you paint and don’t want to get it on you, then throw away. Not sure what to think about anything water related.First major rain: total believer. I was dry, protected from wind, and not trapped in sweaty vinyl. I had no idea.Talked to a friend of mine with a set he has had for years. Same experience.If I ever need another one, I’m buying this again.

I knew I was going to be outside in the rain all day photographing a wagon train, so I needed a rain suit. Thank goodness it never did rain, the weatherman missed it once again for Tennessee! So anyway, I got the rain suit and tried it on before heading out. First off, it did feel like stiff wax paper, the pants fit fine in the waist, but the length was made for a professional basketball player, so I needed to roll them up. The problem with rolling them up is the rain collecting in the cuffs instead of shedding off. The jacket was a little better fit, but the hood was also stiff and frankly uncomfortable when tightened.I'm sure this suit would have kept me dry as stated and was at a price that made it appealing. I'll keep this set in my emergency box for the car but I'll spend a little more money on the next one.

These worked wonderfully on a backpacking trip in which we hiked through some good amounts of rain. These fit nicely over my other clothes. Consult the Frogg Toggs website for sizing information, because they are sized to fit over regular clothing. Even though the material resembles that of a reusable shopping bag, it proved surprisingly durable and really did keep out the rain. I have only a few minor complaints. This particular model has no pockets in either the pants or jacket. That would have been nice, but I suspect the more expensive models feature pockets. Also, if you wear these over shorts or short sleeved shirts, and you're active, you're going to sweat. And just like the material keeps moisture out, it also keeps it in, which can get uncomfortable. That's probably unavoidable. I was more comfortable wearing them over long clothing. However, they dry very quickly. So if you sweat in them, you can just pull them inside out and let them dry. Finally, the drawstring on the hood has no tightener - you have to tie it closed to keep the hood tight. Don't worry about buying a storage bag for them. I just rolled them up into the jacket's hood. All in all they did the trick.

Has a slimmer sportier fit than other frogg toggs. I am 6’ 175lb and the medium fits great. For the price you can’t beat it. But I will say that after 50 miles riding the butt was showing wear. But again great product for the price, wear them out, replace them and you still will not have paid as much as you would for a pair from Black diamond, Patigonia or North face.

I am not sorry to say after trying them on I returned them, did not have the faith or confidence these would protect me out in the elements. They felt like very thin paper that I have used products like this material in the past, they didn't last & were not durable. Also, I had purchased a set for my grand-daughter too, I will not let here use these.

I dont see how these would make good hunting rain gear, especially not motorcycle rain gear. The material is paper like, so its extremely thin. Would definitely rip upon coming across tree branches, or getting snagged on something sharp.Then theres the fact the size i ordered was like 2 sizes too big. It was massive! No thanks, refunded.

Waterproof but breathable and lightweight. Already became a favorite the moment i put it on, such good quality that i bought another for mom. Haven’t put it on a field-test yet, but i always wanted to replace my bulky, stuffy Acrylic pants especially with summer on the way. Only real gripe i have is that there are NO Pockets! Since i wear a multi-pocket vest and go about with a backpack, it’s not so much an issue for me, others may find it disappointing though. As for the jacket, it’s pretty good, although I don’t have much use for it now since rainy season isn’t here yet. Other than the pockets issue, it’s well-made and a great addition to your wardrobe.

I picked this up for my son's high school outdoor ED trip. It arrived quickly which was a blessing as it rained for 3 days and it did a great job repelling water. First of I read the reviews and ordered the next size down as the sizing is larger than you think. The jacket was a great fit but the pants were snug but that was do to my son's rugby legs. When I saw the material I was worried how well this would hold out... it did not. The pants blew out on the first day, but the jacket held up except for the material balling up and pulling off in threads like felt.In a nut shell this product is only good if you put it on and stand still in the rain. It will not hold up to any extended activities. It's light weight and you will be nice and dry I'm 100% confident in that..... BUT it will fall a part for any extended use or after a multiple wears.I read the reviews and thought how bad could it be. Guess it's my fault at the end of the day for ordering this product. It blows my mind how Forgg Togg can even sell or market a product like this. Selling it in good conscience, knowing it has zero durability or quality when it comes to any practical general use of this product.Signed.Very frustrated and disappointed customer

Not good to wear made only for forest

The problem I had with this product is only sizing. I am 5'10", 180lbs. I originally ordered a large. It was huge on me. The order came with free shipping, but when I returned it I had to pay to ship it back, which was disappointing. I re-reviewed the sizing chart, which specs the medium as tight on me, so decided to try again with the Medium. The medium length was correct, but there was so much excess material that everything puffed out and wasn't functional to move around. I got free shipping on this order too, but will have to pay shipping to return. A lot of wasted money on shipping for nothing. I really wanted this to work because I have seen good reviews of it. I never got a chance to test it for quality. The sizing just needs to be better fitting.
