I bought this to replace my very old brush/scraper that I've had for many, many years. While the bristles are thick and brush off snow easily, the scraper is quite large and is constantly hitting the painted finish of the car. The foam seems too far up the handle also. In my opinion, it is just a bad design. Living in the snow belt of NY, I need a good brush with scraper. I will look for another. I wish I could get one like my old Rubbermaid.

Excellent quality! This thing got run over by our car but didn't break! The UPS guy left this by our garage door so it got run over....wholly cow it managed to stay in one piece!
