Lightens hair gently with heat

I used this product a lot when I was a teenager and loved it. Recently my granddaughter wanted her hair lighter for summer and I got her the sun in. It still works great. After one application her hair was a little lighter, after using it three times her hair was much lighter and she loves it. Product smells really good and leaves hair soft and shiny.

I definitely recommend this. I didn’t realize they even still had this. I used it as a teenager & was glad to find it again. It definitely shows results. You can either put it on & sit in the sun or when I don’t have time for that, you can put it in your hair & use a heat setting on your blow dryer. I definitely recommend this!

I was a fan of this product way back in the day, and despite not using it in fifteen years, I'm definitely still a fan! Be sure to comb it through or you may end up with uneven areas (as thanks to my space-case self, I ended up with some spots in the front that had some more lightening), and despite the products suggestions, you need neither heat, nor sun, to get the effect. As a near-thirty year old young woman who spends a rather large amount of time at my computer due to my work, and refusing to damage my hair by constantly blow-drying it, the fact that I can spray it in, comb it through, and leave it -- to get that "just been in the sun" look -- this is the product for me (and possibly you)! Be aware that I'm very happy with the auburn look, due to the fact that it's closer to my natural colouring, however, if you have dark hair, it will take more than one bottle for you to get a more blondish look. My hair was very long, and very dark, due to dying it dark brown for years (I naturally have a reddish brown/auburn hair colour). My hair has a nice sun kissed hue and I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase. Sidenote -- considering the fact that it's hydrogen peroxide, it smells REALLY nice -- much like those nice professional tanning salon sun lotions.

It lightened my dark brown hair to a lighter brown in 3 uses. My hair was already warm-toned, and my skin is warm-toned as well, so I don't mind the warmth it has. The results are honestly amazing, and my hair feels healthy. I actually bought this to lighten my hair before I bleached it so I would use less bleach and damage it less. It feels and looks amazing, even if you don't brush your hair like the instructions say. I divide my hair into different parts, spray those parts separately, and then go into sunlight and it really works!!

I have been using this product for many years. It does what it promises. I just wish they would improve the smell! It isn't horrific but it also isn't great. I always use a dry shampoo after to change the smell. Using it only every other wash and it does the job of lightening the hair color quite noticeably.
